Philip welcome to Pakistan, the land of great hospitality. You are one of the best vlogger that I have come across in recent times. You are so genuine and authentic. Maybe try again you might get the chance to meet him. I hope I get to meet you in person. You have inspired me by your personality and your humbleness. It was great to know that you and the first minister of Scotland Hamza Yousaf were together in high school. I wish you have an amazing and enriching experience in Pakistan and you take some great memories back home. I ardently followed Luke Damant, Harry Jaggard and Philip Dale vlogs and now you are on the top of that list. Wish you all the best and I hope I do get to meet you while you are in Lahore. Best of luck and best wishes from my side
bro in Pakistani tradition people do iftar in two parts, first is breaking fast with dates, cold drink, samosa, pakora, dahi bhalla and the second part is eating a meal after maghrib prayer ... just wanting to clear that iftar not only consists of samosa and juice, cheers'

@Phil..............That Pakora (or fritter) which had some green stuff inside was Spinach (Vegetable). Also want to let you know that a Shopkeeper who had SAMOSA was offering you SAMOSA to carry with and eat it at the time of breaking your fasting. A part from this, If you want to buy Bananas, then keep in mind that they are sold in dozens (1 Dozen= 12 Bananas). Note that in Pakistan, Bananas are not sold based on their weight like USA and other western countries do where Bananas are sold in Pounds (weight). Isn't it interesting?
Really like your interactions with the people you've met. The guy in the blue shirt was super helpful and cool. I would want to eat the plate of samosas. Everything looked so good.
In Pakistan, people like to overwhelm anyone. In our culture, Family values are more important than any monetary things and that's the reason You will see poor people with smiling and laughing on their faces all the time. Though these days everyone in Pakistan has been affected so much due to inflation but it is not only Pakistan as Inflation has affected every country 😊😊
Thank you bro for showing the beautiful culture of Pakistan. Love from Pakistan ❤ Yeah bro same here they're using babies for begging even they have more money than us that's their jobs
100% agree with you when i went to Pakistan in 2007, my cousin was getting his car washed i just looked over the wall and i can see tents all over and one woman was counting cash when i mean cash and she smiled at me thinking you people are stupid
We're not using babies for begging. It's mafias and families that kidnap children and force those kids to beg. There's a special helpline set by the government. If you see people, especially kids begging for money, they can be reported to the police, on that helpline number. And people cleaning or sometimes disguise selling things, but actually beg and those people are bad manipulative, so that police won't catch them for begging. But obviously there're also genuine people who clean or wash cars to earn a bit of money. Or sale things on streets or signals, to genuinely earn money. A person should be smart enough to differentiate genuine hard workers and beggers. There are laws in Pakistan against child labour and against begging. And government does take action, whenever these things are reported.
@@philbland don't encourage begging in Pakistan. Pakistan has laws against begging and a special helpline to report it. You can always report a beggar. Because here begging is related to human trafficking kids, kidnapping kids and forcing them to beg. If a kid runs away, they make that kid disabled. It was quite prevalent in the past. But government's strict measures did help control it and to break off these gangs. Please don't give money to the beggars.

Phil just an advice.Street food can be a bit heavy on the tummy and since you are fasting find a nice clean restaurant that serves clean food....and NEVER drink any water other than bottled. No money to beggars please its a big Mafia... They will hound you when you give to 1 another 10 will come and sad as it seems they use little kids. I waited till the end to see whether you drink juice at end or not. Bro be careful, you are not supposed to drink something after fried street food, it can harm your stomach especially when you are fasting. 2nd ,always drink water first after dates, eating samosas or any other fried street food with empty stomach can be dangerous. We Pakistanis, especially girls are obssessed with samosas and pakoras, but during Ramadan it is advised to use them in moderate amount with utmost care. and the last thing, brother you really got beautiful smile Masha Allah🤩🌸
