Best advice I can give anyone going to Japan the first time, take OTC meds for pain, upset stomach, allergies etc. Even my Japanese friend wants me to send her OTC from the U.S. every year because the local stuff is super weak.

I lived in Yokosuka for 3 years, south of Yokohama. The summers are very hot and humid like sub tropical. There's 2 rainy seasons that are riddled with storms. Fall and Spring are nice. Winter it gets so cold it snows. Kind of wild.
