Other trivia I've noticed: When playing as Yoshi, the second audio channel in the final section of Bowser automatically plays. When the player characters do the spin jump as part of the credits dance, Mario automatically jumps off Yoshi, apparently? If it's automatic, I didn't know that it was an actual spin jump command. During the credits, when there's a coded command for the player characters to make a move, Yoshi always does the same move when the music plays "bah".

In tower battles, mario and yoshi also share an animation for getting startled
@@lemonadesnake You're right. Yoshi seems to have a similar pose to Mario when "startled", while Mario looks tilted as heck

And as soon as Yoshi hits the final switch to end Bowser once and for all, for some reason, Mario is able to move during this cutscene
