Yes this steel is alike to D2 but more rust resistance, edge retention, and toughness. It's quite nice. I love your video making of the knife. Your setup makes it look very good with the lighting.

All you have to do is turn the loop on the sheath with some force, and it will turn whichever way you want to carry.

The micarta on the Canary 4in fixed is way too smooth. Decent knife but not grippy at all. Swappable G10 or rougher micarta scales would be great but since I don't see that as an option I might wrap the handle with paracord. 4 out of 10 stars.

I didn't believe this DC53 steel exist, I thint I'ts kind of some fake steel.All I know for DC53 is model airplane.

Judging by the information from Google, this steel is not very similar to D2. The same carbon is less than 0.8-1.2 versus 1.4-1.6 for D2.

DC53 is the aichi version of sleipner and sleipner is considered to be in the d2 family
