Pajero & Triton Hill Climb - Watagans 5 ways/ 5 hills

- I had a chance to take a quick run up the watagans today with a few buds.
We stumbled onto some good climbs just off I think watagan road coming in from the Cooranbong end.
We decided to have a crack at the sedate one
It had been raining in the morning so everything was still a bit wet.
Here's a short vid of the Pajero and a mates triton taking it on.
My mate in the Prado was told he wasn't allowed after watching my attempt.
For the record, rear diff was locked and vlads mod was switched on.
In retrospect, I may have been better off with just the traction control and a bit more right foot.
I wanted to try and walk it up and see how it went.
I'm keen to try a bit more testing to compare the lock and TC.
Awesome to watch 4WD videos without terrible music awesome just to hear the visceral noise of the four wheel drives and what people have to say excellent

Good vid mate. Will be great to see you do more of this and try it with diff lock on and just just tc on and see which fairs better. I’ve seen a few vids with DL on and just TC on and those showed just TC alone often faired better. Anyways. Keep me coming. Enjoying them.
Thanks Mike. I'm starting to get that impression that the TC has it over the diff lock. The few times I've used the DL it has ended up sliding sideways. Plenty of fun to be had funding out though. Thanks for commenting.

do both cars have traction control and rear locker?
Cheers. Only to paj has a rear diff lock and traction control. The Triton has traction control. Yeah he did a good job of spotting. It can make all the difference and gives that but more confidence.
Hill 1 at the 5 hills looks to be getting harder than it used to be. I wish I had been there now. Bugger
was a good day out.make up for it in a month
Is Pajero as good as Prado off road
hard to say mate. We could have found out on the day but my mate with the prado chose not to find out and held the camera instead :)
That said, I'm sure his 120 would have made it without too much trouble, the little climb wasn't as challenging as I might have made it look
