That last guy really made the best of the moment (freaking legend!), hope he is okay. I'll be honest, I am kinda scared when I look at pitstops in NASCAR compared to every other motorsport. But I guess that is one of its charms as well. The pit crews in NASCAR deserve more credits than they get now imo. (Great vid btw ;)
That last guy was hilarious- gotta have a sense of humor!! Also, thanks for NOT including Mike Rich's accident. I was there with my dad live for that, sitting right across from Bill Elliot's pit box when it happened and it was awful.
Thanks for this video! My personal favorite aspect of this sport is the pit road and I thought I’ve seen all of the pit road clips around but I haven’t seen 2/3rds of the clips in here.
It's not that they don't care. It's just that they are in a race: blood boiling, mind focused at the task at hand. Pit crews know what they're in for. The drivers can't go out and apologize every accident they cause.
Pit crews deserve much more praise for what they do... crazy talented athletes 👏
Atheists?
@@joshuahofman4708 LMFAO
@@joshuahofman4708 well im sure some of them are lol. Maybe the ones with the close calls are believers now lol
They earn over twice as much as a teacher every year
@@kylanmayes470 that’s not saying much
Take a shot every time you hear “You think these guys aren’t athletes”.
Alcohol poisoning is fun
Not trying to die
The people above me are lame but this made me laugh 😂
I liked it when Tony Steward did a slide after he clipped in his pit stall🏎
I wish that I could do my parallel parking like that.
i remember when he did that to murder that one guy
@@desertpanda46 Fuck off it wasn't murder the kid was high on weed.
@Alexthesniper19 I think it was just in his system.
@@YEEYEE-dy8tk bs he was over the amount needed for you to be high

The drivers have cages, seat belts and HAN devices. The pit crews have, well, just damn good muscles, athleticism and luck. They are amazing men.
And reflexes like a cat!
3:30 "HE GOT EM" I find that hilairious for some reason
That last guy was hilarious- gotta have a sense of humor!! Also, thanks for NOT including Mike Rich's accident. I was there with my dad live for that, sitting right across from Bill Elliot's pit box when it happened and it was awful.
I would be the worst pit crew member I would distracted so easily
Same.
same
Same.

I love that at 8:40 a guy from the other pit crew ran over to see if he was okay.
Those Pit crews that dodged getting hit probably felt like they were in the matrix
FR , in SlowMo
12:35 had me cracking up
As a lifelong Mark Martin fan, that wreck at Michigan took my breath away
Thanks for this video! My personal favorite aspect of this sport is the pit road and I thought I’ve seen all of the pit road clips around but I haven’t seen 2/3rds of the clips in here.
NASCAR racing: Turn left
NASCAR pit lane: Mario Kart
4:10 Getting a tyre knocked out of your hands by another car coming in? I wonder if that resulted in an uncontrolled tyre penalty for the team.
Knowing NASCAR, probably.
But since it was a JGR car, probably not.
The man jumped with the Jack needs some GTA San Andreas music after that badassery.
+Respect
11:22 mark......... they really down play just how close Mark martin was to dieing there. remember seeing that i think live on tv.....
The drivers might be bringing the action. But the crews have my respect. It's dangerous in the pits!
Guido, it’s time.
I've had some close calls myself when I was a jackman. My buddy John was hit hard by a rookie when pitting at Pocono during an ARCA Series race.
ARCA brakes?
@@Dat-Mudkip yep
I was amazed when i saw Carls crew members shoe was cut in half for the first time

Better add Hemric’s crew moment in the next one

6:27 what a jump by the crew man there.
Do both compilation videos and voiceovers
Christopher bells guy gets a tire hit out by McDowell and then bell almost hits mcdowells guy.
Balls of fucking steel
3:07 like the blues brothers 😆
Dude thought his foot was gone for a sec. 8:03
Yikes
I could watch pit crew compilations all day... and I don't even watch Nascar.
You can make a movie of Tony Steward hitting pit crews....
🤘
How does Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski find themselves in so many of these clips?
That first guy has got skills
Its wild how unsafe this is. Compared to F1 NASCAR is a free for all
As a former NASCAR fan and new F1 fan, yes, it is crazy the difference. They also pit way less often in F1.
You Got To Be Crazy To Be On The Pit Crew And You Need To Be A Quick At What You Do That!!
Jeni: whoa whoa whoa whoa! 6:30
2:43 - that car just totally strafed left
How much do the pit crew members make? I doubt it is enough.
Let’s all say it together; the pit crew guys are athletes.
Straight up Gangsters.
zipp storm: Watch out! 6:29
1:43 that official hurdle jumps the pit wall.
So many pit crew members are scouted as failed college football or nfl or whatever sport. Saw a documentary on it

Wow! these drivers are ruthless. They don’t care about the pit crew member’s.

Headline to this video should be:
( Who says we're not Athletes)??]
This is too dangerous.
What’s the purpose of making these pit stops so dangerous?
Media entertainment, Nascar sucks nowadays
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
12:03 uploaded same clip twice 🤦♂️
Ok😃😃😃ok
I REALLY wish they make the pits bigger. there will always be risk but sob.
At least make them longer. A car should be able to pull out his own pit without potentially hitting someone else's crew or being slowed down by them.
Tony s the Boss
Jimmy sent me
4:25 they deserved that shit
