I've been in legal since '75 and I paid attention all along the way. I kept telling a friend that got confident when the state could never make anything stick against him and he kept walking on them charges. I told him the last time they let him go to be careful because the state is sick of his BS and they are definitely turning his records over to the Feds. I told him that once the Feds knock on your door, they got you! He looked at the feds as he did the state. The feds followed him and watched all of his activities. Now because he had one state conviction and couldn't carry a gun, he scoffed at it. "I can't carry a gun, but that's okay." Well one night he stopped and bought two boxes of bullets, no gun! The feds pulled him over right after he left the gun store. He did time for them bullets. The feds gave him 5 years for each of those bullets in those two boxes . I don't know how much time he got, but after he came home, he went straight! The Feds play by the Feds' rules. It ain't the same as state law. You're in a whole other arena with them feds. And all the people who raised hell with the state when my friend was facing state charges, they tried it with the feds and the feds told them that they had a special cell for all my friends' enablers. Them people got quiet real quick and left that case alone. My friend was on his own. Don't EVER play with the Feds!

He didn't turn his self in. He was supposed to later on Tuesday, but something happened and he was arrested, in a raid, that's what I'm hearing.
His lawyer said that he came back to New York to live. Because he knew that it was possibility that he was going to get arrested. he was going to turn himself in at the advice of his lawyers.But they said that the police took him in early because they felt like he was a flight risk.
