Was too long inside, he numbed his body with painkillers and the body was not able to tell when enough is enough. Finnish understood the situation and barely got out alive while russian was dead man at that point.

Some questions I guess will never be answered:
* What did Timo say to the Russian the moments before standing up? Did he try to get them to leave because he knew it had become a deadly situation?
* Why did it look like both of them resisted leaving even after they were trying to drag them out? Were they both in shock and unable to move properly? Did they paralyze?
Probably said we have to leave this is so dumb something along those lines and they couldnt physically leave the sauna you get so weak its hard

That contest was poorly organized. Water was applied automatically which increase the temp constantly. The guys were staburn enough not to leave on time. When the saturation is high enough you really don't want to/can't move or leave because it's burning so much more. I bet the Russian guy past that limit earlier and no way Finnish guy would let go against Russian....That's why they needed external help to drag them out at the end but too late. No winners in this competition.

It actually lowers the tempature, but ofcourse it makes the air more humid so its basicly sitting in boiling water wich feels hotter than "dry" air
The russian took opiod painkillers to better handle the pain. If he wouldnt have done that it probably wouldnt have ended in this horrible way!

Pitäs olla kyllä paremmat keinot kilpailijan näyttää onko se vielä tajuissaan sielä saunassa... The Finnish guy could at least move, the Russian who was out last couldnt even move only seconds after raising his thumb showing he was OK. They should have had thee guys standing. The guy that was out 3rd last actually won, as to win, you have to leave teh sauna under your own power. Unfortunatley 2 couldnt do that.
