Pretty sure Malarkey says it needs to be at least 40 degrees to install or they won't honor the warranty. How do you get around that? Doesn't sound like they are manually sealing the shingles with roofing cement. Not being critical. Genuinely interested. I'm about to get Malarkey vista AR silverwood installed on my house, and I'm concerned about the weather turning before my roofer can get to me.
He never answered, so I figured I could for you. They actually have installations guides on their website for UNDER 40 degrees, they say even 0 degrees. I’ve been to a couple of conferences and I’ve been told that they will honor the warranty.
@@JeremiahJones54 thanks. I did end up getting my roof done early November. It was a little frosty in the mornings but got up to 50 both days of install. Had plenty of warmer weather after that but alot of cold too. Made it through the winter so far without losing any shingles. It's a 4/12 and they 5 nailed it with chalk lines and proper reveal. So I suspect they are sealed and good to go.
