- We got a call to tow this Kia after it left the roadway and smashed into a guard rail, sending it across the feeder road before stopping on the curb.

For people not familiar with Houston and the surrounding areas, a "feeder road" is our term for what everyone else in the country calls a frontage road, access road, or service road.
Yep, they're Service Roads where I come from.
Oh, I thought feeder roads were where all the fast food restaurants were next to the highways.
Here in SoAZ, they're technically called frontage roads, according to the state DoT, but a lot of folks still call 'em feeders or access roads. Back when I was trucking, I knew some guys that simply called all of them feeders, no matter where in the they were. There's a few other places, btw, where they are properly called feeder roads. Parts of Louisiana and Missouri, for example. Or that was true about 15 years ago, anyway. As to why they might be properly referred to by one name in particular region, and another name in a different area of the same state, I reckon that's anyone's guess. Haven't met anyone yet who could explain that, although I once met a DoT worker who ventured the theory that it was simply to make his job harder, paperwork even more of a pain in the ass, and provide an excuse for bureaucratic red tape middle managers to bitch about his paperwork. Probably doesn't much matter what the hell you call 'em as long as everyone else knows what you mean, unless you're filling out official paperwork.
Awesome job on the recovery. Stay safe out there.
Thank You!
Great winching job, enjoyed watching, thanks.
Thank You!
Good morning Dustin have a great day God bless you 🙏
Good morning!

Thank You!
another great job enjoy watching
Thank You!
👏👏👏
I’d be afraid of cutting the soft strap.
Hey Dustin I have a question for u. How come u don't use red and blues and a siren to move people out of your way to get to the cene faster
No. He on police rotation only run light red and blue and amber, no siren allowed.
Texas doesn’t allow any of that.
Can only run lights at the scene.
Just curious cause I watch other tow trucker and he uses a siren some
@@johnburns1917 oh yeah Ron in Missouri they does run siren and lights towing

Hello, I just subscribed and of course, I would off request for you guys too... you do a great job...Thank you!!
Thank You for the sub!
Would you do a video on cleaning up the truck after you drop a vehicle off that has oil or antifreeze on the bed
Yeah I can include that some time.
It's always nice when the first responders help with the cleanup
Yes, but concerned why the fire department doesn't have cleanup materials.
@@nboldrini It's usually not their job. Us tow truck drivers are responsible for clean up.
They put down a lot of oil dry. You can see it all over the ground. I carry two buckets as well, so they asked for more.
@@Towtruck_Dustin I didn't know what "oil dry" was . I thought it was oil alone.
Oh, I didn't know that.@@marcuswhite1403

@@Towtruck_DustinIt should be 133000.
With the support from all my subs, it’s a realistic goal in the near future.
Awesome Recovery! Even helped the Fire Department!
Thank you for sharing! 😊
Thank You for watching
Another great video Dustin
Thank You!
@@Towtruck_Dustin you are welcome
a great Job and a good video
Thank You!
You don't know what a major wreck is even if it jumped up and bit you in your ass.
I'd say this is a major wreck
I’m sure you could buff this right out. You would probably have it looking like new in half an hour.
Obviously you’re the one that doesn’t know what a major is if you don’t classify this as one.
Why don’t you chain the car on your truck to another car behind it
I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking.
@@Towtruck_Dustin he mean chain in rear car. that only if no tires on rear like that.
Now we need a truck wash video. Lol
Do people really wanna see that? Lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin Only if you can play the car wash song in the background! Lmao!
There you go give it a shove that will do it 😂
why do you pull the car so far on your bed it's only harder to unload especially if a car doesn't roll great video
I prefer to have the weight further up the bed. Makes the truck drive and stop a lot better.
And if you know what you’re doing, it doesn’t take much of any extra effort to unload.
It's a matter of load balance.
on a truck with air suspension ???@@nboldrini
@emielverschuur8395 yes. Regardless, if it has air suspension or not, you don’t want a bunch of weight on the back of the truck.
@@Towtruck_Dustingreat job sir one tow brother to another watch your 6 sir have a great weekend
Hey Dustin, you will not believe what happened to me today. Tractor-trailer got sideswiped and the Mac the power pole down. No power for seven hours. Why did it get hot in here? Ps how do you like the hands-free?
Oh wow. That’s crazy.
Love mine.

will we see more repo videos soon?
Depends if I get any calls for repo’s lol can’t really plan anything in this industry.
Stolen car?
Probably a distracted driver.
Hi hi Sir
Hey there!
Your truck says In God We Trust. If my truck said In God We Trust, I would be attacked every single day. Where I come from, the people look at Democrats like they are the Gods.
The graphics on my truck are an American flag. I almost can't make it through the day without someone complaining about it.
Murica🇺🇸
That’s sad that people react like that.
Sounds like a place I wouldn’t want to be. Half my arm is the American flag lol
Are you in commiefornia?
Holy Cow The driver done a Number on that car I mean a big number about 2hrs ago our fire station was called out to the GSP NJ Here MVC Car struck a guide Rail . this year has been busy for Vehicle Crashes .
Suggestion: carry a couple gallons soapy water, OR couple gallons water and a bottle of liquid soap, and a smaller container. Mix liquid soap with water: just pour it on the bed, and a vehicle with locked tires will slide up & down the bed much easier. Easy to rinse off OR just leave it on the bed for the next car. @Towtruck_Dustin
I carry a jug of soapy water. You can see it in the driver side box by the chains. I just never use it unless I have pour it in someone’s driveway. Otherwise I use WD40 if I need to slide something on the deck.
