- Ingrid Karklins is a singularly gifted and unique songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Drawing strongly from Latvian Folk roots, her music is progressive, often haunting, always intricately layered and crisply recorded. In addition to violin and piano, Karklins' also plays the Latvian Kokle, an instrument akin to the North American dulcimer.
