My Filipina wife has a good Christian friends from Kenya at the nursing home where she works who might be interested in this video. The Kenyan woman has a very conservative faith. She is friendly and smiling and positive all the time. I really think she would appreciate this video.
I was quite impressed by the excerpts from the worship book you presenter in the video. Their book is every bit as Anglican Christian as the 1662 BCP or the 1928 and 2019 American BCPs.
I'm stuffy and prefer the 1928 Or 1662 BCPs, but the 2019 BCP and the various Global South BCPs are the future of Anglican Christianity.
Lastly, I like the fact that those conservative clergy were able to meet in Cairo safely. I want good relations between Catholic Christians (in the sense of the Branch Theory) and orthodox Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims. My wife's conservative Kenyan friend has a good relationship with orthodox Kenyan Muslims.
    Go Global South!

As a West Indian, I remember singing that version of the Jubilate as a chorus in school (often lead by more evangelical types)

Some years ago, a friend told me this story of Pope Gregory. He quoted the Pope in Latin (Non Angli sed Angeli) and then asked, "Do you know what that means?"
I responded, "The English are no angels?"

A similar dynamic is at play in the Catholic Church. The Cardinals and Bishops of Africa are well regarded by traditional Catholics due to their orthodoxy. Cardinal Sarah is a prominent example, being the former leader of the Congregation for Divine Worship.

A remarkable story, as reported by the Rorate-Caeli blog, has been published. A Papal order enforcing an immediate supresion of the traditional Latin Mass, which would be worldwide in aplication, is reportedly being contemplated. If true, this would be consistent with prior action on the part of the Holy Father.
