I like how Azalea went from a meme hero with a cult to a rising star, then a shadow of Lexi, and now finally a meta hero. She has come far since the old #azaleacult days.
I wish for and expect Vynnset to appear for next week. At least in the other category.

The problem with Warmonger is that it does nothing into Prism 😅

Boltyn is my main but the more other warriors are doing well the worse we will be. I think the points we got recently were mainly just due to timing and getting lucky in not drawing to many warriors. Though I am absolutely loving seeing all the different deck ideas people coming up with.
Boltyn feels like he is on a fine line between being good and amazing. We just need a couple more interesting light cards. I originally thought we were going to be able to summon Beldona to have an ally but it didn't happen. I love Boltyn lore and would love to see an Eirina like ally/angel we can summon.

Need to stop playing Viserai and try something else. Its just so much work to learn a whole knew hero. Plus I’ll need to learn to block and do math😅. Heavily contemplating Kassai, Uzuri, and Prism.
I suspect if Prism becomes more of an issue, we might see a rise in decks like Dash I/O, or like you said, just more timesnaps and time skippers? There is also a question of just trying to survive Prism's turns where she's trying to do the ALS loops - she's functionally only really able to press for 4 damage (two blues to play ALS, pitch to swing with Avalon to get it back?), which is very survivable? And it's not like she can do it forever, it does use up resources! So maybe the solution is to simply play more defensively into that match up once she has that set up, survive those turns, and then try to pressure her after? I don't know, but it doesn't feel like an impossible match up by any means!!
Also Dash in general seems p good into her, given how Dash can generate extra action points!
prism will deal more than just 4 damage a turn with loop, as the loop allows her to set up other win conditions, such as stacking counters on angels with Bellona.

You should play Kassai for Raise an Army and Blood on your hands.
Value FAB is super boring. Too many content creators push that because the creative side of the brain doesn't exist.

Boltyn is in a strange spot, if you know there are a lot of Prism players, it's a very good deck. If there is a lot of Warrior players, it's a bad choice since you would need to Lumina combo your wins, but still not that reliable
Yeah feels very mid, but can do so much good stuff against NOT warrior haha
There is no problem with Prism. She is perfect and pure and LSS please I need a busted deck to carry me

If Arc Light Sentinel is a problem, folk need to remember that Lead the Charge, Timesnap Potion and Time Skippers are a thing.
And this is why I believe that if they do anything to the deck, the simplest answer is the removal of Avalon.
@@DMArmada I disagree. I don't think any of the angels should be hit. First, they're one ofs that once lost can't be replaced, Remberance and Memorial Grounds only targets actions so only Avalon can get them back and even then, she's likely on a very limited time span. And second is that it feels wrong for the fantasy of the deck. I can't explain it exactly, but forcing Prism to at max only run 7 of the eight Archangels just feels bad. (It already feels bad enough that Figment of Tenacity is better left out of the deck) If anything, look to when people were calling for Tomeltai to get hit, and he could be recycled.
@@DMArmadaI'm inclined to disagree as well. It's the Kano problem all over again, Prism shouldn't eat bans because of greedy deck building. Tech for it if you think it's a problem.

@@DMArmada ALS Loop is not even a Problem. The deck is only good because players are not good. If people tech against it as they did with Dromai etc. then you can escape it. People just don't understand when and why.
Warmonger's is REAL hit or miss in Warrior. Sure you can play it, and then you can draw all action cards and have an incredibly weak turn to follow up, so it's a big question as to the value of that card in Warrior specifically. If that's how it pans out, it's probably negative or equal value for you.
You're right on most accounts, though currently a lot of the warrior lists are essentially doing the "attack, react, attack again" line
@@DMArmada yeah that definitely can happen, but really depends on your list. Between cards like Spill Blood, Hit and Run, Spoils of War, Outland Skirmish, there can definitely be some bad draws.
I think you have to decide if that potential is worth the potential Azalea upside. Most Aza lists aren't on non-arrows any more, so it's probably fine to run a couple. You do usually give up a second swing for it though, so I dunno.. Still on the fence.
The arc light loop is boring to play.
I hold all those cards in my prism deck and wouldn't aim for that set up, she can do way cooler things than that.
Is this the first reoccurring loop in FAB? First time I encountered it reminded me of MTG back in the day. Was a miserable match. Though had no sideboard for it because had no idea about it.
New player here, I’m learning the game with kassai since the release of heavy hitters, would love to see a deck tech ;)
People are waaaay overreacting when it comes to the ALS loop.
Yes, playing against it can feel oppressive, but the loop, from my testing, is harshly resource intensive.
So much so that it does not stick around for more than a few turns most of the time.
Simultaneously keeping Prism's soul charged AND having 6 resources to spend each turn is very tough to do long term.
The loop is a tool, but it is in no way as bad as people make it out to be.
Wonder what caused Bravo to drop off? Did most guardian players just switch to Victor?

I dont prism is that bad yeh its annoying to side board war monger for azelea and time skippers legs into prism but it works agians two of the too contenders so i think its fine.
In my arakni list I run lead the charge red at 3 in the side board and the rest has kano respect too because my legs has an insanely good kano player

Prism isn’t a problem. She asks a question and most people don’t have an answer. LSS has given you time skippers and time snap potion years ago to deal with this.
Mechanically, there are answers for sure.

Its actually not nearly as free for Vynnset as you might think. Her poppers are her attacks she wants to use, and as long as you don't flip angels willy nilly, Prism isn't so bothered by the unpreventable damage

I'll never understand why Prism was "reprinted" and made better. Arc light loop is the worst thing. Spectra should be banned. Image the new players coming into a wide open meta and getting prism match ups. They will immediately leave the game. Prism hurts the game.
It shows how laughably bad you are if you think this Prism is better than the last one, and that Spectra needs bans.
Time Skippers, Lead the Charge, and Time Snap potion can be played in any deck, and all deal with ALS loop very well.
Prism doesn't hurt the game, whiny, entitled players who refuse to adjust their sideboard or playstyle while demanding ridiculously petty bans are.

Looping a lockout state is never good. I'm not saying they should do anything about it, but the point is valid.
@@BBpaintball Getting triple/quadruple Bonds attacked by Katsu feels bad. Brute rolling scabskins and rolling 4/5/6 on you every time over a game feels bad. Getting dominate- Red in the Ledger'd 5 turns in a row by Azalea feels bad. Getting combo'd off by Kano when youre about to win feels bad. Getting blocked out over and over by a fatigue deck feels bad. And yeah, getting ALS looped feels bad.
A whole lot of decks are able to do unfun or unfair things sometimes. At least the ALS loop has very easy counter choices any deck can make to fight it, unlike some other unfair things.
Players calling for bans of Prism instead of literally adjusting their list by 1 card is simple stupidity.
@@Paradoxed25 I agree. I got in after Original Prism, Chain, and Starvo were already gone. I've yet to want to ban a card and still don't.
Doing powerful things is what makes games fun and I don't enjoy "value math" FAB, but we do want to make sure the game is interactive.

So, Prism with 10 wins in the 1st week and 13 in the second is a big problem. Azalea with 9 and 14 is also a big problem. But Kayo, a new hero from the latest expansion set with 15+15 is completely fine. I'm not saying Prism and ALS loop are fine, but it's way to early in the meta to start all this drama, asking for nerfs. Try do adapt your decks (there are some tools to stop ALS loop) instead of crying and asking for bans, because if that's the way the game should progress, every deck should be nerfed.
As an Azalea main, I don't really like to face Spinal Crush/Chokeslam/Crippling Crush/Star Struck/Warmonger's Diplomacy. Should i start asking for nerfs to Guardians/Bravo as well? Or should i learned how to play the matchup, even if it's a bad matchup?
And of course, part of the problem are these channels that instead of having a good video/conversation about how to fight Prism and some strategies people could adopt, have a video already asking/suggesting for nerfs, 1 week after the meta has changed.
