People were afraid to come to this lake alone. People usually did not come to this place without being in a group due to fear from burglars and this is why people used to call it 'Dakate Kalidighi' which means burglar's dark lake. The local shopkeeper was assumed to be an associate of the burglars. I had none of these fears. There were many people with me-----sixteen carriers, four security guards and others. It was thirty past two of noon when we reached there.
