  • Look, there is no reason for Scrappy-Doo to be bipedal. It just doesn't make sense.

I am of the opinion that Yabba is Scooby's uncle, not brother (and therefore Scrappy's great-uncle) though a recent encyclopedia erased Howdy Doo in favor of making Yabba Scooby's brother. I do not condone this erasure.
As far as Scrappy's bipedalism, I like to think it's a defense mechanism due to his size. Scooby and his siblings were never that small as puppies. So Scrappy stands on his hind legs to seem taller and tougher.
It is important to note that many of HB's canine characters are bipedal (Huckleberry Hound, Auggie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, Muttley etc). Perhaps Scrappy's missing father is a face we all know.

Are you implying that Muttley fucked scooby's sister????

this is a really good analysis. I find the breakdown of the ancestry as well as the mystery behind scrappys disappearance from the series to be the biggest mystery of the series. This is S - tier investigation in my opinion, this has brought forth even more unanswered questions for me, I hope to one day see this answered or solved as it plagues me everyday without peace.

He's walked on fours at times. Particularly in the first season (when he was a bit more dog-like). I think in the Boo Bros. as well, once when he was fighting the hunchback guy. (And Guess Who did eventually go on to take a shot at him, when Christian Slater referenced him as not the "talking dog" he likes).
