Hey Matt I got a platinum recommendation for you its called The Beast Indside. So its basically a mix between outlast 2 and resident evil 7 the plot is is a heavily narrative-focused, survival-horror game that takes place in two parallel time periods, following two protagonists: Adam Stevenson in 1979, and Nicolas Hyde in 1864. Their lives become interconnected as they work to unravel an unsolved murder mystery. And it's also got some pretty damn good jumpscares.
Watching a man slowly and progressively lose his sanity over bread for an hour wasn't how I expected my night to go, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a thrilling ride. Congrats on the platinum! Your patience and skill are commendable

Saying it's designed to p!ss you off is so true. Literally within 5 minutes of playing I'm raging at something or other. The problem is, I like hard games, but this game is hard for the wrong reasons. Janky controls and crappy camera angles are one thing, but couple them with legitimately tight challenge times and it's just not worth the hassle, imo.
Also, you noticed that the A++ requirements on the PC version are vastly different to the console variants. Honestly, I don't know why they shafted consoles so hard. You need literally 99%+ edibility for a chance of A++ on consoles. As for the baguette rampage, PC has a stacking buff that persists, so it just boils down to how many things you can break. Yes, consoles have more items to break, but a seven second falloff of your combo is pure madness considering how fugging hard that stick is to control, let alone the fact that most of the stuff just doesn't f-ing break half the time. So yeah, the game's complete jank. Hats off to you finishing it, but I wouldn't look down on anybody who decided it's just not worth the hassle. Meatboy is hard, but you always felt like you were making some progress. This? 2+ hours on a level, you're sound stopping working, and even though you did it in 2:40 with 95% edibility you still only get an A rank? F that.
I can tell you right now with it being so soon after finishing I am bread that I want absolutely nothing to do with surgeon simulator 😅 maybe I'll tackle it in the distant future but that's a ways away
