Classy way to handle the situation.
Jakub just is this kind of gentleman
She didn't leave the concert at any moment. She coughed in the 1st part and in the 2nd part. After J.J.O remark she finally put a mask on. It was very annoying and many people came to complain to her. Additionally, she was filming with her phone almost all the time.
No respect for the artists nor the audience.
What about the organizers? This JJO "subtle" hint should have been the last drop even for them.
@@endo1987 😱 What a b***h 🐩. Such disregard of other people's work and art.
God forbid she coughs like it's unnatural to cough now 🙄
You should have stood on her toes, repeatedly
@@stunnedmulletblah9714 we do need to be more cautious after this pandemic and not spread our sicknesses to others.
That being said, these theaters need to make it easy for ppl to get a refund if they have to cancel last minute due to sickness.
Amazing how he stays so friendly. Great personality
damn....this man is beautiful, he has such a soothing way of talking and he has an angelic singing voice. What the hell how does he actually exist
Jakub is so humble. Such a perfect man
He's really charming!
He is so charismatic. I saw him in Atlanta and he gave a warm recital. He's a wonderful artist.
He politely hinted the women to go out and get her cough stop 😅 in a good caring+sarcastic way 🤣..
Yes ♥
He’s adorable I love him so much ❤❤❤❤❤
Brilliant telling her in such a subtle way…. Love you …❤
Reminds me of the time at the Met in New York. An audience member kept coughing and one of the lead tenors shouted, 'Stop that damn coughing.'
He's so handsome
Good Lord, he is adorable.
There is always that one person in a concert that ruins it for everyone!
Would love to have Jakub telling me off this way. So sweet❤
I swear people get chosen to just cough through a whole concert.
such a class act
Maybe I’m in love 💕
Handsome man
As a child I once started to cough really bad during a performance. Don't know why it happened, but I waited outside for the rest of the show until going home with my parents.
I sang in a competitive choir from a very young age, and my whole family (including very young siblings) were always at my concerts. They never interrupted, even when they were babies. My parents taught us concert etiquette and led by example.
I don't understand how there are so many people that are so self-centered/caught up in themselves that they think that they are more important than everyone else there, and are willing to interrupt the concert by coughing, sniffling, texting, opening candy, digging through purses/coins, talking to each other, not having phones on silent, keeping crying/fussy babies in the theatre, bribing toddlers to be quiet, etc.
There is no reason why 95% of the audience can be a respectful, attentive audience and the other 5% are continuously believing that they are getting a private show and they are the only ones that matter.
I know that I'm ranting here, but I've been on all sides of this scenario. I've been the one with a cough who has had to hold my breath and leave the theatre during applause so I don't disturb the other people trying to enjoy the show. I've been the nanny taking the preschooler out of the room so that they could ask me a question and not disrupt the people beside them. I've been the nanny that listens to a concert from the lobby because the kiddo was sleepy and couldn't sit still in the big auditorium seats. I've been the one in the audience giving dirty looks to someone because they are whispering very loudly to their friend about what time their dinner reservation is after the show. I've been the one trying with all my night to ignore the person sniffling and blowing their nose in the row behind me. I've been the one on stage trying so hard to ignore the person taking pictures from the front row with their phone's volume turned up all the way and I can hear the digital shutter sound, and see their face lit up with blue light from their phone screen while the entire auditorium is dark. I've been the one on stage delaying the count-in to start the song because someone is crawling over people and apologizing loudly as they try to get back to their seat and then asking their neighbour what they missed.
I have no patience for people who have no respect for the performers and the audience. I wish that some people would just stay home.
@@TenOhNineI'm opera singer myself, so I totally understand how ut feels from the stage, but you acting too entitled. Sometimes you simply cannot control coughing, it happened to me as well couple of times. It's not when you do that on purpose, you just can't stop, you start choking on the feeling in the throat. It's neurological cough, usually it's the result of any psychological stress and neurological issues. When it starts, when people make comments or you yourself hear and panic to not to ruin someone else's performance, it's just getting worse. Happened to me in couple of concerts and one time during lecture for the whole same-year students. Sometimes it just happens, we are all just humans, so being that harsh to others when it definitely could happen to yourself isn't good.
But I can agree about other issues like phones, talking etc, these are the real problems
@@TenOhNineto be clear, as well add this- obviously u restrain yourself from coughing and suffer till end of piece, cos to go away in the middle is also bad. But I don't understand what's the point to shame
He is so cute and lovely in historischen behaviour! 😊
Out of common courtesy and respect for the performers and the audience, if I gained a repeating cough I’d quickly remove myself from the theatre, as I believe most of us with half a brain would do. I gather she continued to cough throughout the parts which surely must of ruined the vibe for most. I’m just glad I wasn’t there because I’m certain that I’d have blown my middle age fuse and gotten arrested for several charges including gaffa tape related assault for trying to tape her mouth shut.
Just love him.
Charming.
Ok I hope that lady left the audience after that very clear hint. Lol
She didnt and coughed many times. And filmed on her cellphone the whole time.
@@mydemonok I understand the cough part but what is wrong with filming on her phone?
@@iilu4178A lot of the time, venues will actually record recitals/concerts for people to buy so they can watch it back, with a portion of the money going to the performer. The performers getting a cut isn’t as common, but either way, recording it on a phone is a form of piracy.
@@xvdvn2216I feel like unless the performer also made the piece it should not cost people money to buy the recording. The viewer already paid for the ticket in most cases
@@minopoeminopoe4503 While I can agree with you on that, that would be its own thing. I’m just talking about the ethics of doing this within its own context.
Perfect example of inhaling your spit at the worst possible time. 😂
Awh man. Before COVID, I’ve had a tickle in my throat and had to cough SO badly in some shows, but I literally squirmed in my seat and held it until the applause because I didn’t want to be THAT person. Guess I just was raised with manners and a mother that would have dragged me out of the theater for being inconsiderate. 😂
What does this have to do with manners tho?
@@stunnedmulletblah9714 you equate manners with being forced to stifle a cough? You definitely need to explain that one, dawg
@@TCt83067695 Causing distraction unintentionally is embarrassing and annoying for others. You'd ruin a show or concert with spontaneous coughing? Get cough drops or respectfully leave for your own comfort. It'd be embarrassing if someone comes up to you and complain about it.
@@sundus928 if your show or concert can be "rUiNeD" by a little cough, then I posit the cough is the least of your concern. Sorry.
@@TCt83067695it can be distracting in a classical music context, especially in the softer passages when the pianissimo playing of the musician flows through the hall because of the acoustic, and even a cough can be heard very well and be distracting.
Omg he is so beautiful
How can he has everything!!!
Shape
Face
And voice!!!!
His great
He is great,not his great
Like bro just get out the room if you dying in there tf
Bravo!
what a wonderful and humorous manner to handle an annoying situation. I oftentimes get so frustrated when I am totally absorbed in a recital when people in the audience burst our coughing as if they were at home. And I can imagine how irritating and distracting this must be for the artists and it’s about time one of them reacts in such an adequate way!!
When he got his asian debut in hongkong, the stage was outdoor theatre placed in central. And it was weekend of hongkong after pandemic. So, every audience, il pomo d’oro and he were surrounded all sorts of sound you can get immediately when you imagine ‘the city’. Consecutive honks, supercars booming, airplane shooting, strong wind whistling and open bar woopers mixed up with live vocal bands.
He exactly knew how the sounds would be on sunday, the second day of concert. He mentioned it during concert, of course, as a special experience. He really enjoyed it as always so we could just enjoy it.
So, you guys don’t need to argue if the singer is J.J.O. You will be just happier than before you had a seat there.
талантлив, красив, обаятелен
I presume you were that person coughing there😊
COUGH 👏 DROPS 👏
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good man
What a sweet guy, I hope the lady got the hint and left for the sake of the audience 🙂
There's a cougher in every show
he is such a cute guy
Genial 👏👏👏
Man… why did my knees weaken when he started talking… like sir, don’t be so charming or I WILL mary you
Sans commentaire ! Restequi tu es ! ❤😊
He is so nice and cute!
'I dont want anyone too'.. spoil this event
Take her to fresh air so her airway is clear, but don't embarrass her, so we can get on with the performance!
Alfred Brendel once stopped a concert and told the audience if they cough again that he'd leave the stage. Nobody coughed even once again. Proves that they do it on purpose and it's also herd mentality (one starts and then everybody has to start).
‘Are you fine because I see that you are dying, sort of’ 💀😂😂
That Sagittarian candor...🤣
Handsome
The cutest❤
I always bring sweets and when somebody is coughing behind me, or around I offer a sweet with vampire smile❤
I would simply ✨️ pass away ✨️ 🫠🙃😭✋️
I got a cough like that right before my 4th song and had to hammer through it and by the end 5 girls had gotten me a glass of water and 3 guys got me a beer 😂
Nice, Ron
Certains prétendent que l'opéra et la musique baroque sont des musiques chantées et écoutées par de personnes déprimantes. Vous êtes la preuve vous et bien d'autres que Non ! Vous représentez La joie et la paix ! Amitiés😊❤"
If you hace these conditions, and you go to an opera concert... take medication! Or don't go, its very annoying!
It’s about time an artist confronted one of these buffoons who coughs constantly during a performance. It had to take a lot for it to get this far. Stay AT HOME!
Have mercy on my ovaries 🎉

He is full of sarcasm 😂😂😂
I think someone coughing throughout your concert, is simply disrespectful, and the person has no clue about singers and concerts then😮
But how do you hold your cough? İf you try to hold it it will burst even more severely
@@nanelikahya9949 swallow repeatedly and the cough goes, or always carry boiled sweets to recitals with you….
@@nanelikahya9949 if you are repeatedly coughing during a show, you should step out. Once or twice, or some smaller coughs, is ok. But throughout the show, with big coughs - you should not have come to the show, or step out. A few coughs could be something in your throat. Throughout a show very much sounds like you’re ill and are not only disturbing the show with the sound, but putting others at risk of illness.
@@nanelikahya9949
Where your intelligence has gone?
There's only one solution - get out!
This guy is handsome and talented. No homo. Just wondering what that might feel like 😂
Your comment was extremely homophobic, and I don’t think you even realize it. Reflect.
What concert was this ?
i always hated this when people would loudly cough during operas concerts etc. Like if you're sick why not stay at home or go when you don't cough like you're on the last stage of tuberculosis. Like it's so disrespectful and annyoing
💟
Hes good-looking 😂
Selfish woman. Absolute disrespect for the performer and whole audience
It happend to me if there is too much dust around. T
Hall was not cleaned properly
She was rude. You’re sick stay home
Damn... This is so humiliatyng hahahahahahahahahhahaha
It doesn't even sound like she's doing anything to stiffle or mute it. When I repeatedly cough (recital or not), I do so into a piece of cloth. Whether that be a sleeve, handkerchief, pulling the neckline of my shirt over my mouth, etc. If I were in a setting like this and really couldn't hold the cough in, I'd be holding that cloth so tightly against my mouth that you'd think I was trying to suffocate myself, simply to mute the sound as much as possible. Some people really just have no care for anyone else
If you have a frigging cough, stay home!
Mdrr il est ultra drôle 😂
:)))❤
What nation is him
Nice way to say eff off
Dick Cavett...can be a Windbag..like in this interview.
I can imagine how annoying would be for the singer to cancel the rest of the season concerts because he got a flu from an irresponsible person. I wonder where the hall manager was to kick her out?😮
Slavic Jay Foreman.
She should’ve left. How inconsiderate of her!
Como alguém vai para um concerto tossindo desse jeito, pessoa totalmente sem noção.
😂😂
🤣
I hate when people cough during performances in such a small place. Not only it's distracting for the singer but also annoying for the rest of the audience. I don't think that such coughing couldn't be done less loudly.
Why one should bring unwrapped lozenges.
Am I the only one thinking that a cough is normal?
Yeah, but in this scenario where silence is required, it would be distracting for the performance and audiences to enjoy the music. I guess it's really depends on a place & situation.
She was probably coughing more than once...
Commenter here said she coughed thru the entire show.
Too bad the woman did not care enough to leave the concert. Frankly the management might have considered speaking with her and having her watch from another room or. Give her a rerun pass🌞
maybe she choked on spit or had a cold or something. someone said she wore a mask after his comment but mind you, a mask does not stop a cough. coughs are uncontrollable and can get worse and loud if you tried to stop it. PLUS she did say sorry at the end if you listen carefully so leave the lady be. ty
But you don't apologise and keep coughing. You just leave out of respect for everyone else. If you have never been to classical performances with someone repeatedly coughing you have no idea how loud it sounds and how distracting it is, it is really very inconsiderate.
Let me know next time you spend a buncha money to see a show. I’ll come sit behind you and cough the whole time. I can’t control it.
Coughing Lady, this ain’t no rock concert.
No more GMRC in schools.
You can't control your cough jeez. Lol the more you hold it in the worse it will come out and even louder!
You get up and get out. At least go to the back. It's extremely rude. Plus, seriously, this man lives by his voice. Who would in their right mind risk ruining it?
Simple, you leave. If you go out and get a glass of water and you are still coughing, you stand at the back by the door, or just go home. It's very selfish to ruin everyone else's concentration on the music.
Just dont go to a concert if you are prone to coughing, there's always cd players
Mentality of a person who doesn't think about how their actions affect others
Cough as much as you like as long as you don't disturb anyone else. Other audiences pay to be there to listen to music. And the musician dedicated their whole life in the craft. The organiser team works so hard to organise a concert.
So... According to the comments, coughing, which can be someone's out of control, is bad now. Mind you sometimes we choke on our spit and cough even when we are not sick.
She's clearly been coughing through the performance. Try to step out if you have to do something that you know is disruptive.
I've been in this situation. I cleared my throat with my mouth closed as quietly as possible. When that wasn't enough, I got up, went into the restroom, coughed a lung out, drank water, came back and I survived without disrupting the preformance
Stop being offended.
You ok? Who hurted you? Or you are a selfish person in general?
@hunhunhaha "sometimes you cough, that doesnt mean you're a worthless piece of shit" is somehow selfish while "if you dare make any sort of noise you deserve to be kicked out and never let back in" isnt? Wild days we live in
@@alexandermagnus82 I understand your point. But from the small clip, it didn't seem to me that she was coughing throughout the performance. If she was, I agree that she should have gotten out. I was saying we sometimes cough out of nowhere but some of the comments are really mean.
Idk if I agree with publicly shaming someone over a cough. They can't help it. I imagine some of these preformances cost good money so no way in hell I'd cancel expensive plans over a cough.
