Admission tests will be subject based. The Admission Test / Paper will consist generally of 100 MCQs (one mark for each MCQ) with four options. However, for languages there may be one to two descriptive questions of 40 marks (each question with 20 marks) along with 60 MCQs. There will be 100 MCQS for both M Phil and PhD admission test. The time allowed for both M Phil and PhD admission tests is two hours (120 Minutes). Spoiled or overwritten selection has no credit. The qualifying score for M Phil is sixty (60). The qualifying score for PhD admission is seventy (70). The list of admission test qualified candidates will be displayed on the departmental notice boards. Admission Test of each subject will be held in the respective Department. All Candidates are directed to bring Paid Admission Fee Voucher, Application Form and all original academic documents with them on the Test day.
