just a small question:- for Do’s of employee files, for how long an organisation should keep those record even after employee resigns or absconds from office..
Thank you for this informative video! I understand what information I shouldn't give access to managers and the HR team or the rest of the team, but I'm confused about what information I'm allowed to give to auditors. Should I give them access to employee medical records, or I9 records, or payroll records, or just personnel files?
What is accounting has access to socials and banking information for payroll? Or what if you use an onboarding online platform and the right people are allowed to see it and no managers can access it? Can you still keep those files together?
Great info, thank you. Straight to the point, no fluff, really informative.
Thank you!!
We include training certificates, background checks, wage garnishment info, and employment verifications in employees’ personnel files.

@Cece O Unfortunately no. I'm planning to ask these questions in the near future to important parties, like a business lawyer lol.

Who can have access to personnel files and payroll system?
How many file cabinets should you have? Two?
how longe hr keeping this record?
Thank you !
You're welcome!

The question is who complete the new employee file?
So quiet... perhaps next time increase the volume in editing.
