Jose, I got to make one more observation. New York is a city that never sleeps, while Naples Florida goes to sleep at 9 o’clock! I swear everything at the bayfront in Naples closed at 9 o’clock! I was enjoying a wonderful drink with my friend at the Bayfront cabana and it was midway through the third quarter of the football game and they had to close! Unbelievable!🙄
And of course, if you like gawking at and looking at high-end luxury vehicles, then Naples is the place for you! Although I didn’t see as many this time around as I had in previous trips. I did see a lot of Bentleys, BMWs Mercedes and Jaguars, though.
José to be honest, the only thing I did not like during my last visit was a horrendous traffic even on the main boulevards in Sarasota, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Naples! I was just stunned by how much traffic there was and I’m not even in a major metropolitan area to begin with. And yes, I did see quite a few construction trucks.
One thing I noticed in Naples is that the homes that were destroyed by hurricane or storm search damage are being rebuilt out of concrete frames instead of wood frames. That’s a good thing.
Also, if you are a tourist, I highly recommend flying in and out of Sarasota Bradenton airport because there are plenty of airlines that offer nonstop flights. Also the airport is super easy to get in and out of compared to your larger airports likeTampa and Miami.
Downtown Fort Myers looked like it was nice and historic unfortunately, the street signs downtown are very hard to read in the street. Names are faded.
I cannot believe it! These recovery efforts are still going on many years into the future!
It's going to take a long time.
Thanks for the updates, looks like they are recovering nicely, hopefully no more hurricanes

Is Longboat key beach okay? Planning a trip in April. That traffic on AMI looks awful😨
LBK is a mess but the beach is clear. By april it should be fine tho
I saw signs for inexpensive housing in Labelle and Clewiston if you want to think of living out there.
Not even a publix in labelle
I live in Clearwater FL and Clearwater beach is largely recovered.
Really? It was a mess last time we were there. Gotta stop by and see
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Yeah they cleared all the pushed up sand and debris, minor infrastructure damage but it's most recovered.
