I'm not going to jinx it and start asking questions, I'm just counting my lucky stars! such an awesome evening Chaz, thanks for tuning in and joining us! sláinte
I must say, I love the way you showcase events like these on your channel. You give us the highlights and a proper glimpse into it so we feel like we're there, but without over sharing and compromising the intimacy of the event by streaming the whole thing. Keep up the great work!
thanks DS, really appreciate that! we've got lots more lined up so we'll do our best to continue striking that balance and hope to see you on the next one. sláinte my friend
I love Glenallachie, I've visited the distillery a few times, the 10yr old cask strength drew me in and I've been hooked since. This 35yo is a lot of money for me, but I just had to get a bottle. Can't wait for it to come, it will be a very special occasion before it gets opened though!
nice one Leigh - I too love the 10Y/O CS. great to hear you took a leap on this expression too though and I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy it. sláinte!
Curious to try it, but happy to have my "own" 35 yo bottled in 2010 (& full sherry) by TSD for their 10th Anniversary (TSMOS range) as it did cost me the 10th of this haha....
@@TheWhiskyBaron oh yes, but I'm afraid nowadays price is a lot higher (WB says average price 3750 €) I did review it on my channel, 2 years ago in a Live show, if you wanna hear my tasting notes...
Wow! Billy must really really enjoy your guys’ company to be invited to this event!!! What a fantastic privilege!! Great stuff gents!

@@chazchilly9697 thanks Chaz!
What an absolute pleasure to be there with a legend Jake, and also to try such an amazing whisky. To say that I'm jealous is an understatement!
I was pinching myself the whole evening JJ! glad we could at least share it with you here my guy - sláinte

@@GregsWhiskyGuide nice one!
Mr Walker is a modern day Alchemist.
So true! What’s your favourite Glenallachie?
Bold choice on the shirt
not a fan?
@@TheWhiskyBaron it’s cool, you pulled it off
@@ps3inquisition441 thanks! it's a custom piece and one of my favourites so you'll be seeing it again for sure
I'm sure it's lovely. Just need to find a dram out there somewhere.
I'll let you know if I come across any open bottles in the wild
I kept hearing it might not be in everyone's budget but nobody ever mentioned the price. What is the price on this 35 Year old Glenallachie?
It’s £1479 - we weren’t told the price on the evening
Exactly as Posh says
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 hi sir
It is the best old whiskey in the name of your whiskey which brand name you like best ??? 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks
we've bottled too many great whiskies, it's difficult to pick just one favourite. we love Glenallachie too though!

Hello sir
Not macallan …
…. Thanks for your reply me
@@chivse7064 we've never bottled our own Macallan and it wouldn't be my favourite brand. it's decent though
nice but too hard to buy and over priced
definitely difficult to buy but I'd disagree that it's overpriced personally
