Thank you for sharing this, i missed an opportunity to visit Queenstown and Dunedin where my eldest sister who lived in Invercargill tour around my 2 brothers while i would rather stayed with my Mom in North Island for my time visit was limited. Few days with my Mom was so precious as precious as an opportunity to visit South Island😢. But someday i want to visit and see South Island❤❤❤~.~

Well for many years I'd go to Eichardt‘s bar on the beach.....but I guess it's not there anymore. How about UDRIVE motor boats....no! Brought up there. The 60s and 70s was still a Kiwi holiday town but not the most popular place, Wanaka, Temuka, Nelson lakes.
If it's Christmas eve it's look just like any ordinary day the local don’t care about Christmas like Sydney and Melbourne Christmas eve they celebrate Christmas.
