This has been a popular trading strategy for a long time due to Japanese interest rates being at 0% or even negative. Traders would borrow in yen and convert to higher yielding assets, usually stocks. Bank of Japan raised the interest rate last Wednesday for the first time in a long time. This has caused a big appreciation in price of yen vs USD. Traders now have to sell big time to cover their rear ends. My view is this will be fairly short lived and we should see a big rebound. Probably a good time to buy crypto if you can afford it.

Kaspa crashed about 30% in value from $20 to $14 roughly. It will only makes sense to buy asic miner at this point if the price also went down about the same of higher than that. Otherwise, it's better to just buy the Kaspa coin itself.
