I agree with most of what you're saying, but I do think the Mercedes isn't fair. I've watched it again and it's clear he's not talking about his wife when he says "Mercedes" - he was talking about somebody with that actual name. But, yeah. He does keep saying that he's running against Obama. And he did say Biden would get us into World War II. And he did praise the Continental Army for taking the "airports" during the Revolution.
