Some people probably missed it but I’ll point it out anyway…Sarah Michelle Gellar is in this film…she starred in cruel intentions as a queen B student, where she schemed with her stepbrother in a boarding school to achieve a goal…so having her play as the principal in this was just genius!!!….side note this may never happen but I hope Netflix makes a Buffy film or short series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as the mother/watcher, Angel as the father or father figure, Naomi Scott as the new Slayer(maybe as a dampier or half vampire), Kiana Madeira as Faith’s daughter and the new slayer’s best friend/ love interest and everyone from the original cast making cameos or guest appearances

If the original mind behind Buffy is in control he can bring something unique to the genre. I think one Buffy Netflix film with the original cast and a solid plot, character development, high standard of visual effects and practical effects and spirit of the original would be good.But again, have Naomi Scott as the daughter and new slayer and Kiana Madeira (as Faith’s daughter). Please don’t make it too “woke” etc just stick with a solid plot and make a good film/ short series and you’ll be fine Netflix.
Also with the teen tropes the movie used, I was glancing sideways Katherine is tha you(a nod to Cruel Intentions) Also the ending with the reveal and the car sequence definitely was a homage to Cruel Intentions
Maya voice is so soothing, in a way reminds me of Grace VanderWaal voice, pretty unique and its very calming... while Camila voice is so clear, empowering and reassuring in a sense. If she told me it all will be okay i would believe in it no matter what.
I can’t believe I didn’t find out sooner in the movie that Eleanor was playing Drea.. but once Carissa told her about it this film automatically became one of my favorite movies wtf
