In my opinion, this is the best kind of dubstep there is. Doesn't always need a rediculous drop to be good. In fact, it probably makes it more appealing to people who wouldn't usually listen to this kind of music.
Fibra de carbono y Cambios Automaticos by 'Crisopa' Wake You Up by 'Koven' Every other way by 'BT' (kind of reminds me of the old atari game 'superfrog') In the Twilight by 'Phaeleh' Breathe me (Butch Clancy Remix) by 'Sia' might also be something to look out for. Oh and BLACKMILL. dear god listen to anything by BLACKMILL!!! Ahem, that is all.
and uk's dubstep is to hyve and dive i suppose, all to be under the influence of lsd hm, skrillex dub= wubwubwub, uk dub = wuuuuuyuuub wuuuuyuuuub wuwuwuu
Aww... I like both Uk and US artists.. and both cross over with brostep, dubstep, drum n bass and include different elements of different subgenres in one track. the earlier stuff had the same vibe all the way through, but shouldn't the mixing and integration of all the different subgenres mean less arguments these days? One can have a bit of everything instead of being on one cam[ or the other..
I actually think he was attempting to make a pun. You see, there's a picture of Gregory House Md, and House is also a genre of electronic music. Its not really a matter of reading, it might have been just a poor attempt at a pun. Or he is actually just dumb :3
Teardrop is like one of my all time favorite songs. I think you did a good job with this but I wish you would have played a bit more with the vox. Other than that ... very nice.
@LennyBaxter1 por dios que escuchas tu musica o poltica? si no es ninguna de las anteriores sin mas ve otra cosa interesante que la musica se siente no se se golpea ..................... disculpas ,
i think it might help the argument going on here to suggest that while this is--while kind of overly mellowed out--okay, it is not dubstep. To me, dubstep has hard, energetic or erratic beats; and its electronic instruments/fx have more grind to them, for lack of a better word--the sounds are [heavily] 'square' (square wave) and/or 'saw.' This is more like just a slowed down remix. Although the added bass tone has a square-wave sound to it, this simply doesnt fit the definition of dubstep, to me
Dubstep did not originate nor stem from trance. It actually stemmed from dub reggae and the dirty bass came from The Grim and Filth genres. Trance is by far the best electronic music, but if your gonna come spouting out bullshit against people for liking a certain type of music, have your facts right. The younger generation today does not know Original. 10 years ago the music was original and then "your" generation showed up and started fucking all sorts of genres fucked up.
It depends on age. Most who have been into electronica have and may not have remembered. It's good that they (Massive Attack) scatter themselves and appear a bit incognito from the world a bit then appear in a House intro. They still keep going so I really care less about what others think about what I like. Not keeping a clock on who thinks what is cool. Waste of time. New people who enjoy are good for having good taste.
Skrillex is a good dj, mostly all dubstep artists need to be. However, his dubstep is for tweakers. Yes, he is also overrated, I'm not even being a hipster, just there are way better dubstep artists that people don't know about for some stupid reason. Anyone with the internet can find a better dubstep artist than Skrillex.
I regret they used Teardrop for House. What the song meant to me before the show was diminished by repetition and altered by its new context. I liked House, for a while at least. But I always felt this song was stolen from me, becoming mere background noise to introduce characters that were not quite as deep and soulful as the song itself.
it's a really, really good remix. one of the best i've heared. and that's quite difficult with that tune. the only thing i'm missing is the intro. why did you cut the intro?? well, and the voice could be just a little bit louder.
You're right. Though, for the uninformed or those otherwise absent from that aspect of the music scene, he has become the de facto face of dubstep and electronic music, which has led to nothing more than the attachment of a stigma to the genre, what with the whole 'hate-on-dubstep' circlejerk.
Skrillex isn't quite as talented as people make him out to be. While he is certainly capable and has some good pieces, his creative skill is lacking. Don't discount him as an idiot just because you disagree with him. Though, to be fair, his original comment is indicative of a poorly founded bias.
@Dave1507 morrons?? are you sure that WE are the morrons? i'm watching house since the first season and i don't remember for how many season but THIS IS the house soundtrack. the show changed its soundtrack but tv (at least in my country) kept the old one. maybe that's why you don't know it
@TheBeasto13 I don't think so. Rather, it's about a fragile sensation or emotion, you would never admit to someone's face. Imagine Martina Toppley-Bird, street tough and bitchy in the daytime, whispering "I love you" in the night, to Tricky, snoring up a storm.
@illsnipeya grammar nazi or spelling police?? what am i supposed to do now?? pay for not being a native speaker?? anyway, even though i'm glad my mistake is the only one you've found here on the comments, seriously, gtfo! this is you tube not a dictionary!!
@jojortmanns It does sound like Mt Eden. Now, is it weird that I can't actually find this track with Mt Eden in one sentence? Sorry, I don't mean to be an ass, I'm just asking if you know for sure... Ya know? No offense, really.
@RoboBagons tell me about it, they should definitely be given more credit. Their songs are always used in adverts and for tv shows. love it :) MT EDEN IS SO SICK!!! that is one of my fave songs too, you gotta love Sierra Leone too
i had a terrible feeling this was gonna be all distorted wobbles (altho theres a time and place for that dont think itd compliment this kinda vibe...) but this tune is boss! Better than the knight riderz remix imo, shame about the quality. Who's it by?
@dariadammit Don't need google to prove I am right. Both ways of spelling the word are correct. You should have taken the pain to look up the Cambridge dictionary before dismissing my statement. You as an English "major" should know better...
Techno? You don't mean every techno subgenre, like minimal techno right? Not listening to much dubstep, used to, but minimal sucks balls. To minimal! And enlighten me with good techno and trance songs please :)
@TheBeasto13 yea, I thought so and I read it in a page that for some people it talks about abortion...and for others not... personally to me its about abortion. search the song and you will find a video with a fetus..singing it
you're right because other artists have overused dubstep and have made it nauseating. This remix however has a little touch of dubstep. If dubstep wasn't so abused you would have really liked this remix
I'm happy to call what the Skrillexites do "brostep" rather than dubstep. Ok, it's derivative, but I think it should get its own label (that way I won't bother clicking on any links to it).
It also supports the outlaw of homosexuality and uses it's funds to support wealthy governments instead of helping the impoverished like it is supposed to do. Stupid and corrupt in my opinion.
it doesnt sound like dubstep to me, where is the bass? You can hear it, but dont know, the song is awesome, but is more like a trip-hop remix than a dubstep. Nice job, even though.
No offense but this is a great fucking remix, whats wrong with liking all sorts of dubstep, its not all about the biggest drop, some songs are remixed to chill you the fuck out brothers.
No hate on your song man, it's really nicely made dubstep, however, I would like to hear purely the beat of this song made with dubstep.....wubwub wub wub wub wubwub hahaha :)
What do you mean "pseudo-medical"? & why did you assume that his whole life's meaning is House? He just said that "House is -probably- the most memorable and touching -piece of media-".
@P4NDOR407 Dubstep is basically a kick a snare and a chill bassline. It's inspired from grime, dub and others. a song doesn't need a filthy growl or ugly noise to be called dubstep.
Was really awesome until the drop. Extremely weak drop. Take dubstep out of the title and pass it off as a remix of teardrop. Not nearly strong enough drop to count as dubstep.
I'm pretty sure that Chillstep is a subgender of dubstep, like Brostep or whatever the experts says to look smart. . So ChillStep still Dubstep, like Death Metal still Metal.
OMG! HOUSE + DUBSTEP? I'M GOING TO DIE HERE STOP BEING SO FUCKING AWESOME THE LEVEL OF AWESOMENESS IS WAY OVERBOARD! WDFIWANGEIGN *does not know how to deal with this*
Mt. Eden comes to mind, i'd also suggest DJ Ephixa, but hes BaconStep :) like dubstep but amazing like bacon! Veela did a few songs with Ephixa shes got some good songs.
This is good , I was wondering how not to rape a masterpiece , I eventually had my eargasm , unvolountarly , Oh nooo That means the song raaaaped me , rape me again !!!
This hasn't ruined the original for me and for that I say thankyou to many people get carried away when remixiing a tune but not this one you have done justice
different tastes dylan. why would you go out of your way to increase tensions between the countries? they call us chauvinistic bigots, so set a better example.
lame remix... it only has the typical wub wub dubstep sound over the already great original song... nothing big, and it took almost no time to make this, I bet
@deathmasta455 UK spelling is criticise; US spelling is criticize. Both are accepted in academia in US and UK as long as you're consistent. I suggest you do too.
Well... this is the only good Dubstep remix of teardrop I have found. sums up Dubstep... for every 1 good track made, there's about 10 bad ones. Nice one :)
I dont care how you spell it, but I just wanted to throw in that this is a Massive Attack song and not to be confused with the theme music from House. these are slight chord variations between the two, nevertheless, nice work :)
@Pianomantodd1 dude dubstep isn't about the drop. listen to songs by benga, skream or coki the guys that pioneered dubstep. that's the pure 100% thing.
This is a very well done remix. Most of the remixs of this song i have heard took the editing and bass to far and ruined the more mellow feeling of the original. You struck a nice balance
I honestly cant believe people are giving bad views on this!? Not actually joking this is one of my favourite ever tracks
In my opinion, this is the best kind of dubstep there is. Doesn't always need a rediculous drop to be good. In fact, it probably makes it more appealing to people who wouldn't usually listen to this kind of music.
Keep coming back here over the years... hoping to get it in HD somewhen... ;)
Still no HD it seems... 😔
@Pianomantodd1
Dubstep doesnt have to have a masssive drop to be classed as dubstep -__-
its deep, but a chill deep. Not too much going on, its a really good chill dubstep.
@Nzxer
What, because it's not shit like Skrillex it's not dubstep?
This song is like 10 times better when played at 1.5 minus the hook and a few other parts it wasn't made for.
This combines the great memories of the House tv show, with the expression of dubstep
i think its very well done and really chill ;)
one of the best dubstep songs i have ever heard, and i listen to lots haha
House is probably the most memorable and touching piece of media I've followed all the way through in my life.
great song i loved it :D
A truly great remix, an awesome classic tune. Could listen to this all day..........:-)
I listen to this when I am study for nursing
Fibra de carbono y Cambios Automaticos by 'Crisopa'
Wake You Up by 'Koven'
Every other way by 'BT' (kind of reminds me of the old atari game 'superfrog')
In the Twilight by 'Phaeleh'
Breathe me (Butch Clancy Remix) by 'Sia' might also be something to look out for.

Probably because he fucked music over so hard.
/EndThread.
This is awesome but you need to upload a better quality version. The quality sounds crappy...Do you have a lossless version to upload?
You hipsters need to learn to listen to old music like the classic Hip hop like Public Enemy and stop yappin wit your gay Wubububub's.
@LennyBaxter1 por dios que escuchas tu musica o poltica? si no es ninguna de las anteriores sin mas ve otra cosa interesante que la musica se siente no se se golpea ..................... disculpas ,
@Phonolith303 Hooray for Vicodin!
Well... maybe a bit more than just Vicodin...
love this mix, it just enhances the original track so much. oh wait, i thought this video was about music, not skyrim. my bad.
i think it might help the argument going on here to suggest that while this is--while kind of overly mellowed out--okay, it is not dubstep. Very nice remix. Glad it kept it chilled rather than trying to ramp it up. Whats the House reference?

Great Mix !!!awesome !!! relaxing !!! Thumbs Up for this!!!
Could someone tell me the artist's name please?
THE DUBSTEP RUINS THE SONG> ITS AN INSULT TO THE ORIGIONAL SONG. someone out ther ban this video.
I like this. It's very gentle, just like the original song is. I enjoy it.
I'm pretty sure that Chillstep is a subgender of dubstep, like Brostep or whatever the experts says to look smart.

Surprise: This isn't dubstep. It's more like industrial trance (oh god is that even a genre?)
@HeyRustyJames He basically explained a typical American nothing to with me I iz from lundun.
@CertifictJones if you dont like dubstep why in the world did you come to this video....? >.>
I dont care how you spell it, but I just wanted to throw in that this is a Massive Attack song and not to be confused with the theme music from House. these are slight chord variations between the two, nevertheless, nice work :)
@JakeMackable Your not supposed to listen to Dubstep quietly so get your volume off 1 and put it to MAX and then you will be able to hear it better ^^
@Pianomantodd1 dude dubstep isn't about the drop. listen to songs by benga, skream or coki the guys that pioneered dubstep. that's the pure 100% thing.
I think this is a good remix, nice relaxing beat good change from alot of other dubstep remixes out there.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOO! Massive Attack songs were NEVER to be ruined by dubstep!! Didn't you guys get the notice! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?
You do realise the irony in your comment, yeah.
In the event you do not. What do you wish people would shut up about? What did you just mention?
@CertifictJones On that note.. Just out of curiosity do your 2 dads take turns receiving or is there some man/woman system that they stick to?
i dont know it was very mild and i have heard trance like that but i think it is more a matter of opinion i would call it dubstep tho
if someone said that this teardrop song is not house md soundtrack, then it is clearly that someone has ototoxicity or acustic neuroma
Way to boil everything down to whole countries like that...you're so awesome and jaded...I wish I could be like you when I grow up.
Not as bad as I expected, but not nearly as good as the original. It was already perfect, so any remix can only go downhill really ;)
@dariadammit well maybe you should check your facts mate. Simply type "spelt" in google and you will see that indeed it's correct.
and obviously, he hadn't left.
he said he'd already left..
dude, in what universe can you post a comment after you've left?
how many times do i have to say this? this isn't the house theme, you morrons, get your ears wasched and come back than...
Personally would have preferred a Massive Attack picture, but I suppose most people would associate the song with House.
Skrillex is overrated. This is not skrillex, so why is he even mentioned? I like this version and the zeds dead version.
I was about to ask HOW DARE YOU .. but its not that bad at all ... remains quietly .. anyway ..leave it to the original imo
@smokescreenninjato That is actually one of the first amusing comments using that meme I have seen. Points man, points.
Good mix and stays true to the original with a nice subtle use of backing beats.
This is a very well done remix. Most of the remixs of this song i have heard took the editing and bass to far and ruined the more mellow feeling of the original. You struck a nice balance
look to the UK for real dubstep. American dubstep is all mellow or hyperactive children's music like Skrillex. RinseFM
Uh, no, there was no such thing as dubstep then. It's trip hop. Although both would come under the label "breakbeat".
was anyone else really disappointed because they waited for a hard drop and it never came!!! it never!!!came!!! :(
@wilsli000 criticize* Spell correctly before telling someone to spell correctly.
dubstep has its place and this is a fantastic song originally, but this version is absolutely ghastly, horrendous.
sweet remix, a little bit more volume on the vocals would have been the way to go i reckon. love this track though
Well when you look at UK artists such as Skream compared to others, you'll most likely agree with his statement.
@Axxorz yes it is >< if you want to be stubborn and insist that you're correct, fine. go ahead but spelt is a word
This definitely isn't lupus. Could be a little louder though, its quieter than all the other UA-cam songs :/
That's truly sad. I hope you find something more meaningful in life than a pseudo-medical FOX serial drama.
@devosanchez No over where I live there is a male female relationship, mate.
isnt that how music became music though? through "fucking all sorts of genres up" to create something new.
