Have you tried making soy milk with some black sesame tossed in , or peanuts? That was my favorite growing up in Taiwan. Also does it cook soy milk enough to kill the enzyme (bitterness) that can be toxic if ingested when soymilk isn't heated properly?
Chefwave is a rebranded name. They are actually an OEM/ODM products, which mean they are manufactured or designed by the same company, but branded differently. Chefwave is a rebranded name of Joyoung designed for USA market which Joyoung brand is designed for the Chinese customers. Joyoung is a public traded company in China. The chefwave is same as the Joyoung mini version.
No doubt. To be honest, these two are two different machines anyway. One is nut milk maker while the other has more programs, heating blender, smoothie maker, soup maker, on and on. I like them both but for nut milk, the first one is enough for me :)
@@ricelife for plant based milk, I simply use ChefWave because it is a nut milk maker. The Y1 is a heating blender that happen to have a nut milk program. Both can make soy milk. Thank you for your answer! One more question please, which would you choose or which is better from these two products: Klarstein Mixer or SPRINGLANE Mila?! both make vegetable milk! please answer and thank you very much!!!
Seems SPRINGLANE Mila is the same as Chefwave Milkmade? I am using Chefwave (the white one in my video) because it does what I need. I want nut milk only. The Y1 and all these other mixers can do the job but I just need nut milk. I am planning to test GROWUP Milk Maker in the future and compare.

I like Chefwave Milkmade better to be honest. It's just perfect for nut milk, at least for what I need. This particular Joyoung is not sold in my country anymore. It has soup, smoothie and other programs.
All around a bad item, chefmade milk maker. My family bought this for Christmas for me. I tried it and it worked the first 5 times. I did 1/2 recipes. Then it threw an error code of e15, call the manufacturer. They would not talk to me because I did not purchase it. My son finally talked then into replacing. They asked us to cut the electrical cord and toss. After a long wait we recieved a brand new one. This one only lasted 1 pot before it threw the e15 error. I tried both of them numerous times after the code, but they just don't work. The milk that we got was watered down or chunky. We can no longer return them. Researched a little and they are not designed for use above low altitude. So if you live at 2,000feet it may work. I also did not like that it had to go through the whole milk making process to clean. Each time it would throw an error I would have to unplug it, attempt to clean everything manually and then run a 15 minute cycle to clean it, which usually resulted in another error code. Don't buy
Interesting, why didn't you simply return the item back to the store it was purchased from(?) Whenever I have a problem with a new product, I simply return the item to the store it was purchased at, which is a whole lot easier & faster than dealing with the manufacturer.

actually, they are very similar in performance because both are by the same company. Chefwave is simply a rebranded Joyoung machine from my understanding. I think it really depends on the type of nuts you use. But for coconut for instance, I think Milkmade does a better job. for some others, their performance is somewhat similar. In general, Milkmade is a better machine for anyone who just wants nut milk. It's optimized for that. But Y1 has more features and gets the job done faster.
I thought it was the same. At least from what I remember. I now mainly use the Chefwave Milkmade. The Y1 is a great machine but I don't need all those extra features.

Is the milk made hot in both, what if you wanted to save it for two day & need it cold
no, Chefwave makes it hot, the other makes it cold. That's why Milkmade takes a bit longer. 8 to 12 minutes whereas Joyoung Y1 does it in 2 minutes. Y1 does have a heating blender function though which I used for soup.
Which one gives more creamer milk

Which cup of cashew nut milk tastes better?
I like the Milkmade one better. But it's warmer and that's how I like my nut milk
With either machine could u add spice to your milk like cinnamon or vanilla?
I have not tried that because I have my plain daily but the recipe books actually suggest adding those.
Would be good if you could read at the speed of sound🤷♀️
Exactly hahaha
Where does the pulp go?
with most of these machines, everything is filtered and the waste is deposited to the waste container. That's my understanding anyway.
