    Father God give me strength, I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. HEAVENLY FATHER Thank you for giving ME strength to keep going.

    1st commandment is to love God
    2nd commandment is to love your neighbor
    Love is always a choice or it’s not love

      @warchela 1 John 4:19 "we love because He first loved us."
      "Love is always a choice or it's not love", do parents "choose" to love their children, or do children choose to love their parents? It comes by our nature doesn't it? Same with one's love for God, when your nature is changed you love God because He becomes your father, by creator AND by adoption.

      I ask this question to all calvinist. If God predestined most for hell and only died for a few people isn't it possible that you're actually called to burn? Where's the assurance in that? Right, there is none. Telling people that the Father is responsible for people going to hell when really it's satan and the person's choice is switching the credit to the wrong party blaspheming the Holy Spirit that's why when the pharisees said Christ was doing miracles through satan when it really was the Holy Spirit they blasphemed the Holy Spirit. Calvinism will send millions to hell

    God does respond to us. It’s all over scripture. He even changes His mind after appeals from people. He sovereignly decided to give us a lot of power and responsibility. He sovereignly chose to allow us to believe or reject Him. He doesn’t cause us to desire to desire sin. That’s antithetical to His nature, revealed word, and process. He doesn’t even tempt us with evil, because He is GOOD. He is GOODNESS itself.

    Freewill is misunderstood. No Calvinist denies freewill but understands that the human will is bond first by his nature and second by his knowledge/experience. We will always choose what we want most in every moment. We can not want what we don't know and won't choose what we don't trust. Evil is the lack of God/good. We are in the image of God minus 7 things.
    Holy
    Aseity
    Eternal
    Unchanging
    3 omin's
    His people He makes Holy but only through Jesus
    We have power
    We gain knowledge
    We are present
    But without the inherent Holiness without God restraint on us will will also choose evil and can no nothing less. Even the good we think we do is not of God so it is evil. God shows us our need for Him by taking off the restraints. Even Adam when the restraint was loosened chose sin. That is way we needed God in the flesh so when the restraint we loosened, being God fully trusted without the restraint of grace. Man is responsible from what comes out of his heart. Jesus says its not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes out. All God has to do is step back and sin reigns. Everything to His glory, though by stepping back, God does direct the heart, not in creation evil but allowing it. In Romans Paul corrects the misunderstanding when he ask the question his audience was thinking. "Why does God find fault when He made me this way" and Pauls reply, Who are you to question God?
    Our job, love mercy, do justice, and walk humbly with our God. Trust and know He is good.
    "Why does this happen to me"
    Why not? Are you more perfect than Jesus? How do you not deserve worse then you have reserved? God crushed His son for the elect to be the bride, you think we are getting out unscathed? Adam as our perfect representative chose this path and we all woild have as well.

    So what does the second CAUSE has to do with the elect “sanctified” by Christ??????? Why lead people into confusion??. YOU are elect (chosen) simply because YOU walk by the righteousness of God and what God (Himself; not YOU nor the church) has ordained for the RIGHTEOUS has nothing to do with their weaknesses (sin paid for at the cross) BUT their faith and trust in HIM. Where then is the power of SIN and DEATH? 1 Corinthians 15:55-58 -- The power of SIN is the law. YOU who use the law against the elect, where then is YOUR power ???????!?!!!!!!!???? WHERE ??????? Thank God through Christ who gives us the victory throughout eternity (for 1000 years and forever). If YOU uphold the law, YOU will fall by the LAW!! But if YOU uphold the GRACE of God (gospel), YOU will walk in the fullness of the LAW!!!!

    Your explanation of secondary causes didnt explain how God wasn't responsible for apple stock doing well. Is t that the whole point of talking about secondary causes. Because we have to somehow absolve God of the responsibility for the existence of evil. But even John MacArthur says that God is responsible for the existence of evil.

    I am generally Baptist, but this is one area that I simply disagree with. If we are made in God’s image, with mind, spirit, and body; then we are made with a free will, or at least partially. God has full sovereignty in the way that he can, and is fully able to, do anything and everything he wants, without limit according to his will. That is also how he works everything to our good and his glory. Also this is the only way the Bible can say it is his will that all come to repentance and salvation, and yet Jesus said that few find the narrow way.
    That is the only way I can even come close to explaining it. God has total foreknowledge due to his nature and perspective of being God, and limits his power by giving us a freedom of choice. Then it says that few are chosen. Some are simply chosen by God to do his will, he creates them to fulfill a specific purpose for his will, and fills them with a desire to do his will. Like the prophets and the other servants of God.
    Obviously I am a human and cannot completely understand the mind of God, as Paul said, but this is the only way that it makes sense according to scripture.

    To say that God decrees everything that comes to pass and yet somehow doesn't at the same time is schizophrenia of the highest order.
    1 Thus says the LORD, "Go and buy a potter's earthenware jar, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the senior priests. 2 Then go out to the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrance of the potsherd gate, and proclaim there the words that I tell you, 3 and say, 'Hear the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Behold I am about to bring a calamity upon this place, at which the ears of everyone that hears of it will tingle. 4 Because they have forsaken Me and have made this an alien place and have burned sacrifices in it to other gods, that neither they nor their forefathers nor the kings of Judah had ever known, and because they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent 5 and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, a thing which I never commanded or spoke of, nor did it ever enter My mind; (Jeremiah 19:1-5, NASB)

      @@2timothy23 Depends on what translation you read to find free will. Some interpret "own will", some say "own mind", some say "own desire", but there's no doubt, since the Garden, mankind has had the freedom of choice, limited only by what God calls unrighteous.

    He reads some creed as if it is scripture but doesn't use scripture, contradicting himself in the process. He says there is no maverick molecule in the universe and that everything that happens is by God's decree, but somehow, he says God is not responsible for sin. If God has decreed everything and there are no maverick molecules, by default, God is responsible for sin. This is the error of Calvinism. Eloquently spoken, but nonetheless false. This is emblematic of the convoluted explanations that must be made when you deny the truth of free will.

  • @cryptojihadi265

    This is such a STUPID argument. I honestly lose heart with the apparent lack of ability to think logically AT ALL by so many Christians. Look up the word sovereign, it just means someone who has authority or rules a region or realm. It's applied to Kings and Dukes or ANY HUMAN governmental, as well as God. Now NOBODY thinks that EVERYTHING that happens in an earthly realms is a direct action or will of that king or sovereign.
    NEVER is it defined as complete and absolute CONTROL! Now I get that unlike human kings, God IS omnipotent AND omnipresent, so IF he wanted to exercise His authority BY exercising ABSOLUTE control then He COULD. But He chooses not to. He CHOOSES to give us free will. MANY times the Bible is clear, people did what God did not WILL or INTEND them to do.
    Now He absolutely WILL step in when absolutely necessary to make sure His ULTIMATE purpose is accomplished, like when Abraham told the ruler Sarah was his sister, and the ruler took her as his wife, God stepped in and told the king that IF he touched her, she was a dead man. Even then God still gave him a choice. Voluntarily return Sarah to Abraham and you will live or test God's resolve and He would strike him down. Regardless, Sarah WAS going to be returned to Abraham.
    But direct interventions like that are pretty rare.

    And this is my problem with Calvinists. They talk out of both sides of their mouths on this subject and a couple others. God is sovereign, no problem there. God created everything and it was good, no problem there except for those people he created to go to hell. Since God created them to go to hell they have no chance for redemption, no chance for fellowship and no chance for holiness/sanctification. God created them to sin which means God created sin. You can deny it all you want, talk sideways and make all the excuses you want. If God elected them to go to hell then he created them to sin. Period.

    • @CatfishHeaven777
      @CatfishHeaven777 19 днів тому +7

      He didn’t create them to sin. He created them to be good. The problem is the fall of Adam. Through that fall we inherit Adam’s sin nature and the inability to do good anymore because everything we do is tainted by our sin nature. Everyone born is headed for hell because of this sin nature. Everyone sins because it is inherent in them. God doesn’t have to be the author of sin nor does he make anyone sin. They do it under their own nature. God in His kindness and Grace chooses to save some. Others he chooses not to. Why? I have no clue, not even Paul understood this. But regardless of how and why God does this doesn’t change the FACT that he is sovereign over ALL. Just because we can’t comprehend it doesn’t make it any less true. Calvinism takes both truths and holds them in tension because we refuse to misinterpret. Armenians think the tension means misinterpretation so they change it to lessen the tension and in turn misinterpreting.

    • @douglasmcnay644
      @douglasmcnay644 19 днів тому +8

      Your issue is that you assume that they DESERVE a chance for redemption. NO ONE deserves that. We ALL deserve hell and ALL would be bound for hell if God didn't supernaturally regenerate any.

      Calvinistic churches can be quite legalistic, and most calvinistic pastors do not understand the Gospel. They claim that they preach sola fide, but they are really preaching faith plus works. There are also many arminian churches that do not preach the gospel; I grew up in them. I never knew if I was doing enough to maintain my salvation. The Gospel is the most important thing, not whether one is a calvinist or an arminian. The anger is very off-putting. We can disagree, but we should do it respectfully and graciously.

    • @kristenreynard1995

      @@juliapaone561 - I think there's confusion with Calvinists because growing up in an evangelical church and now being under a pastor who preaches straight from Gods' Word (Scripture interprets Scripture). We do not believe faith PLUS works - it's Faith alone, in Christ alone. Works is the natural outflow of an obedient faith, not to be confused with works-based salvation or the legalistic view of doing good works to maintain salvation. Spiritual fruit is evident in the life of the Christian who is led by the Spirit...a continual process of sanctification.

    • @juliapaone561
      @juliapaone561 19 днів тому +3

      Right, but people like Paul Washer will tell a room full of christians that many of them are going to Hell. There are people who sin deliberately and have no repentance, and they are obviously not saved, but then there are people struggling with sin and I take issue when they are told that if they are not doing everything on Washers list they are not saved.
      How do I know that I am saved? Because Jesus died for my sins. It's not what I do but what Jesus did for me.
