제가 볼때 개인적으로... 일본은 버블경제 시절에 리즈시절이라고 생각함. 거짓말 안치고 80년대 황금기 버블시절은 진짜 한국이 따라가기 어렵다고 봄 우린 그때 민주화 운동때였는데 옆나라 일본은 화려한 시대여서... 80년대 시티팝을 들으면 일본은 80년대가 최고황금기라고 생각이 들때가... 90년대는 일본문화가 대단하다고 생각은 하고 있지만 그래도 80년대가 최고!

hmmm,... this time was after the " Bubble Economy " collapsed. People graduating from college then had very little future. I think that's why the tone of this drama is somewhat depressing and sad.
They just look SO GOOD together,can`t take my eyes off them.Also,this song is a certified BOP.I let it play through every episode of this drama and I`m here now.

"Long Vacation" is my favorite dorama from the 90s, with "Overtime" a pretty close second. Both have the most STELLAR soundtracks. They STILL hold up, and always will!

2021...I just finished the whole show again....the smoke, the music, the laugh..the ridiculous outfit..and of course the love. I'm 37 years old now....the first time when I watched the show I was 19!! All the memories!!
The reason is an agenda to emasculate and to whitewash Asian men. It's speculated to started in Japan thanks to Johnny Kitagawa he created the famous idol brand Johnny's. Now the same is happening with Korea they're pushing the more feminine looking man with the idols and their looking more and more like the Japanese ones, but fortunately it's not working. The reason is because the emasculatetion agenda was deployed in Japan right after the Pacific War and USA vs Japan, so Japanese powerful people who own companies and control media and also the newbies and enthusiasts were paid and convinced by USA and it's allies that bring this kinda of image for their males would help to clean Japan reputation to the world (the bad reputation usa had made for Japan themselves) and their produts and entertainment will go famous worldwide, also there's where the animes came from as well. The reason it isn't working in Korea is that it came too late, in the 90's when their "modern" culture and perception is already made, also Korea was never in crisis like Japan after Pacific War. So it's not happening people in Korea use to distinguish idol from actors and avarage people, they think idol is aimed for teenagers at the very best since the start so despite some idols get really famous with gp, however general public still believe the "real" visuals are of the actors and u can hear it from the actual people. Back to Japan if u wanna know my opinion the emasculatetion unfortunately seens to be irreversible. Edit: typos.

I remember watching this on repeat. I was a teenager when this came out! It still is my favourite Japanese series! I fell in love with all the main actress and actor back then and still so! I love this song and this film so damm much! Brought back lots of happy memories! A tragic they won’t and they can’t make such great tv series anymore!
This was my gateway asian drama 20 years ago. I remember waiting sometimes a whole day for the download to finish on my torrent in my windows 98 computer. But watching these episodes were worth the wait.. Those were the freaking days.

JDramas were great up to the first decade of 2000s. Now it seems that the younger generation demands dumber dramas, animes, & musics.
I only heard this for the first time a week ago but somehow it feels like I've known it all this time, and even get a nostalgic feeling from it. Maybe that's the magic from the 90s, but now its time to watch the drama!

The reason is an agenda to emasculate and to whitewash Asian men. It's speculated to started in Japan thanks to Johnny Kitagawa he created the famous idol brand Johnny's. Now the same is happening with Korea they're pushing the more feminine looking man with the idols and their looking more and more like the Japanese ones, but fortunately it's not working. The reason is because the emasculatetion agenda was deployed in Japan right after the Pacific War and USA vs Japan, so Japanese powerful people who own companies and control media and also the newbies and enthusiasts were paid and convinced by USA and it's allies that bring this kinda of image for their males would help to clean Japan reputation to the world (the bad reputation usa had made for Japan themselves) and their produts and entertainment will go famous worldwide, also there's where the animes came from as well. The reason it isn't working in Korea is that it came too late, in the 90's when their "modern" culture and perception is already made, also Korea was never in crisis like Japan after Pacific War. So it's not happening people in Korea use to distinguish idol from actors and avarage people, they think idol is aimed for teenagers at the very best since the start so despite some idols get really famous with gp, however general public still believe the "real" visuals are of the actors and u can hear it from the actual people. Back to Japan if u wanna know my opinion the emasculatetion unfortunately seens to be irreversible.

Another fact, kpop is a niche worldwide, so it IS weird for most of people, and they do think those pen boys are health less, and the whole concept not appealing, these are already very strong steriotypes who just increase, considering the companies don't do anything to help it, anw. And again back to knets, for Koreans kpop is just pop, they are compared with actual decent Korean and international artists who actually chart with general public there (unlike 4th gen boygroup who are mostly nuggus).

I remember watching this on repeat. I was a teenager when this came out! It still is my favourite Japanese series! I fell in love with all the main actress and actor back then and still so! I love this song and this film so damm much! Brought back lots of happy memories! A tragic they won’t and they can’t make such great tv series anymore!

This was my gateway asian drama 20 years ago. I remember waiting sometimes a whole day for the download to finish on my torrent in my windows 98 computer. But watching these episodes were worth the wait.. Those were the freaking days.
