I loved that this sounds so serene, despite the chaos going on in the scene. Like as if Gohan is truly focused in combat for the first time in a long time.
I can feel it. Not the chaos of consciousness, but the elegant purity of energy operating on impulse alone. Goku (Gohan) is focused only on Jiren (Cell) now... or rather on the battle itself. He's throwing his whole body and soul into the fleeting moment of each strike allowing the flames of his power to rage freely, unrestrained by the walls of thought. Concerns for his universe; or the gap in their powers, his hesitations, his fear... He has given them all to the fire and let them burn so that now there is only himself, his opponent, and the fight.

“Power comes in response to a need, not a desire.” I truly feel gohan is the epitome of this. The kid never asked to become strong just cause he desired it, but it was the numerous amount of times he was forced in situations where he needed to protect the people he loves that inevitably caused him too. I really feel that at this very moment Gohan once again understood who he was and what he could do with the limitless potential he has within himself. My favorite character in db history, no questions asked. 🙅🏽♂️
Yup unlike his dad & Vegeta who fight cause they want to. Gohan fights cause he needs to. That is why Gohan has so much untapped potential cause his reasons for fighting is to protect the ones he loves.
This is why gohan is more of a hero then a sayian. He doesn’t fight out of a lust for battle but out of a desire to protect others. To him it’s not an urge or passion but an obligation he now realizes he needs to accept not because he likes it but because he has to. In a way his “Beast” form is him balancing out his sayian traits with his personal urge to protect others which is why I would prefer this form to be called “Super Hero” something like Super Sayian but fundamentally different in outlook since it’s not driven by a urge for combat and strength but to end conflict.
Kind of sad y’all thought it was that good…DB is worth literally 10s of Billions of dollars and they just did a rerun of the cell saga with more special affects….nothing has changed from except the price of admission. “No questions asked” leaves you stupid as hell
This song is so soothing. It's as if the OST itself is telling you, "Gohan's transformed and attained the power needed to win! Everything is gonna be alright, now."
One would think this theme would never be fitting for a dragonball powerup theme, but in this case it is oddly but EXTREMELY fitting. Kind of represents what silent anger truly feels like
Man the moment Gohan uses Piccolo’s own Special Beam Cannon and kills Cell Max literally the same way as Radiz, it really put into perspective how we’ve come to full circle with Gohan.
I thought for sure it would go full circle and end Piccolo’s story, passing on the Special beam cannon to Gohan, and sacrificing himself to hold cell. But he lived so it felt a bit less emotional in the end?

This music & moment in the move made me completely change my mind on Cell Max as a villain. It was just such a perfect disposition. Gohan is so calm and serene in his controlled burn of anger. All while this massive screaming hulk is in front of him out of control with its anger. Was a beautiful scene to be sure, but awfully short. I want more!
There definitely could have been more of Gohan in his new form. I would've liked to see his speed and fighting style, mainly because I want there to be a specific style he uses for when they add him to Dragonball FighterZ 😎😎😎

When I listen to it, I feel that I have a piece of Gohan in me which makes me able to do literally anything I set my mind to. I was biking and biked 8 miles almost all uphill and was exhausted. I had to stop several times for those 8 miles. But the next 8 miles I listened to this song and did it all with no brakes and I wasn’t even tired afterward. It was still all uphill too, this song just calmed me and made me feel invincible like Gohan is.
This fit so well with the scene, it’s like the music is telling us “this is it, this is your reward for waiting so long to see Gohan finally be awesome again” and of course because of the new form. I really like the floating in space vibe it gives too, IT FITS SO DAMN WELL
I adore how understated this theme is for the moment. Instead of the bombastic orchestral drums, horns or guitars blasting in our ears that we expect.. It's faint. Almost silent. I only noticed it upon my third watch of the movie when I was wearing headphones, and it legitimately sent chills down my spine.
Fortunately the IMAX I saw it in the first time has stellar audio quality so I heard it and I had chills down my spine and goosebumps all over. It was absolutely perfect for the moment. It spoke volumes and demonstrated just how powerful Gohan is.
I know we're all used to the bombastic music for transformations in DB but this just fit Gohan so well. It's just perfect for Gohan and I'd love to hear this music play when he transforms into his Beast form in the future. It feels like it's pulled straight out of Mass Effect and it's perfect.
This soundtrack was really something different from the usual theme songs for characters. It basically said to us after Gohan's transformation: "Everything is going to be okay now". I love it.

Honestly, not even gonna lie. When this music came on in the theatre when Gohan loses it and transforms during all the chaos going down, brought genuine tears of happiness and excitement to my eyes 😂😂😂
The fact that this is surprisingly calm shocks me. Gohan, who is enraged at his mentor/father figure nearly dying, have such a calm theme, is so soothing, and being focused at the fight at hand, which hasn't been seen in so long.
goosebumps filled my body when this entire scene played out in the theater. i felt like i was ten years old again watching gohan be the badass he was in the cell saga. im so glad to be a dragonball fan.
As soon as I left the theater I drove straight home, looked up this track and made this video. It had to be done for the greater good of DB fans everywhere 😎
@@yonyalexander3833 compared to usual, i get it. Typically you'd go balls to the wall with the OST like Gogeta's final blow to Broly, but I like the calm, almost scary vibe of this track. Told my friend its the Siren's Song playing to Cell Max as he's about to leave this world lol. A soothing warmth as you are relieved of your existence. The angels have come to take you away, Cell.
Oddly enough, with Beast Gohan it didn't feel like he was feeling Rage or Grief that he had when he went ssj2 against Cell. With this theme I almost feel like it was meant to represent, clarity? You might mistake his smirk for being unhinged or cocky, but if anything I think in this scene Gohan finally sees the potential in himself that everyone else around him saw. Gohan hears again and again "You'd be the most powerful if you trained" in both Z and this movie, and now Gohan himself can finally see what they're talking about. He broke his limits, and it excites him. Like father like son.
This scene was absolutely perfect, the music, the symbolism, everything. The music is what made it so great though. My favorite scene of the movie for sure.
Someone needs to edit this over SSJ4, honestly such a banger. It’s so weirdly tranquil and even brings a hint of sadness with it in a weird way I don’t know how to really describe. Beast Gohan is my absolute favorite form now and I really hope we get it in a game like Dokkan and Xenoverse 2 soon.
I like it. It gives off an interstellar vibe which is oddly fitting. Much like how one must ascend past the sky to touch the stars so too must Gohan break through his previous limit to enter a new realm of power. But hey, that’s just what I think
Gohan Beast feels like Gohan's inner raging beast has come forth, but now he has gained peaceful control over it, channeling it into that one epic attack.
This is certainly a Unique aspect of the DBverse Usually, whenever someone shows up or does something, good or bad, a theme always goes wild in many angles, giving you all sorts of feelings: excitement, dread, fear, sadness, adrenaline, anything that boils the blood and keeps you on your toes. however, despite of this cataclysmic fight, throughout the whole chaos that was unfolding by each second for everyone, this theme kept its soothing rhythm as if nothing else mattered, whatever happened regardless of the situation, even when Cell Max tried to silence it with his dreadful screams and attacks, the soothing echo reigned supreme. This is no mere theme, it’s a message for everyone out there, that when this Gohan appears even if he looks like a Beast, peace will follow after no matter what. It’s a theme that once it starts playing, nothing else will interrupt it.
I was wondering if it was just my ears hearing the ambient sound , but it made so much sense when seeing it all in action, all the colors and brutal beating piccolo was taking. Its almost like ringing in your eyes when your sense of sound is blown out , yet they made it seem melodic and calming
I listen to this during my workout session, and you have no idea how this makes me break my old PR, I literally evolved because of this song, well done.
The eerie soft tones and almost tranquil but Melancholy music behind the moon pale skin, Hell Cat red eyes and ghostly hair mark the most menacing Gohan we’ve seen yet. Reminds of Roberta from Black lagoon when she lost her shit. Love this theme thanks for the upload
This was mind blowing and I just watched this movie today.. Gohan has come a long way to get to this point even though he needs more training but I'm glad he gets some acknowledgement!!
In Raditz moment Goku was main character, Gohan was suprise who weaken enemy, Piccolo was final weapon. Here Piccolo was main character, Gamma 2 was suprise who weaken enemy, Gohan was final weapon. The circle of Gohan/Piccolo story or maybe begin of something new?
Gohan didn't even budge when cell max hit him. He was even willing to take the full force of his attack just to see if he could take it. This is probably the largest power jump in db history for gohan
Many people say this form is unearned, but this isn’t really a form, I mean in the basic sense of what a form is, yeah, but it’s more of a metaphor for everything Gohan has achieved throughout his lifespan, proving time and time again that he’s broken his limits through sheer drive to protect the people he cares about, and honestly, if it weren’t for the TOP where he mentioned wanting another form beyond anything seen in DB, I think he might’ve retired from combat, yet thanks to the realization that EVERYTHING is never truly safe kept him going. This is not a form, this is a reflection of who Gohan truly is.
hot take: I actually love gohan's new form. The form truly feels like the culmination of everything gohans been through, all the obstacles he's had to face, the challenges he's been put through, his evolution as a character, all encompassed in this bestial form with white hair and red eyes, with the white hair symbolizing his inner rage manifested and domesticated completely and gracefully and the red eyes showing the fierce and sharp power burning within him like a flame, very much in contrast with his previous acsension into ssj2 where his power was seeping around him and his rage was kept within him. The form's name itself directly implies the inner beast sealed within gohan has been awakened and tamed appropriately unlike his premature explosion of power last time around. it's truly a sight to behold.
I’ve also noticed that at the end of this OST, you can hear the music sort of ,,wiggle”, it may reference the bird appearing at Gohan’s first SSJ2 Transformation
Yoo this is a sound only made by Gods. You would never think something like this could go soo well w/ a scene it’s beautiful and it made it feel soo epic, and intense. Love It!!!
When I saw this scene for the first time, I couldn't help but sit in awe of Gohan. I'm a huge Gohan fan, I wanted to cheer, I wanted to fanboy so hard seeing Gohan's ascension. But just like the music, all I could do is just sit in awe of the quiet, powerful rage that lay before me. This movie was without a doubt, truly special experience.
This theme makes me feel like I am in the presence of a true predator, like I am both terrified but I cant help but feel immense respect & awe in said presence of such a Beast with the way this theme makes me feel. Gohan truly ascended to the next fucking level with this one.
When this song started playing, everyone in the theater was either dead ass quiet or silently going “oooo” as if they knew Cell Max was going to get a brutal beating.
This theme came out of nowhere and it was quite a welcomed change from what we're typically used to. It really gave off this vibe that Gohan has ascended to this new realm of power that should send shivers down your spine. I was in awe the entire time seeing what was transpiring on screen to what I was listening to. Awesome track
Vouch for this. I sat there in the cinema gawping at the screen with shivers down my spine throughout. And definitely a tear or two in my eye as he kicked cell in the stomach and performed the makkankosappo. SSj2 was always gohans peak form and I'm so glad they bought it back.

Howwww did you answer my prayers only hours after I watch the movie.
As soon as I left the theater I drove straight home, looked up this track and made this video. It had to be done for the greater good of DB fans everywhere 😎
@@zachmullen8843 the sudden change from the action music to this calm ost made me know cell was gunna get rekd
@@zachmullen8843 it feels underwhelming for a climax ngl
@@yonyalexander3833 compared to usual, i get it. Typically you'd go balls to the wall with the OST like Gogeta's final blow to Broly, but I like the calm, almost scary vibe of this track.
Told my friend its the Siren's Song playing to Cell Max as he's about to leave this world lol. A soothing warmth as you are relieved of your existence.
The angels have come to take you away, Cell.
@@FortunateJoker he doesn’t even have a soul he’s pure machine.
it's as if the moment Gohan transformed into beast, victory was already assured and it was already done. That's the vibe this song gives me
Oddly enough, with Beast Gohan it didn't feel like he was feeling Rage or Grief that he had when he went ssj2 against Cell.
@GrandXenoTrue Based
Once I heard the music, I really thought that piccolo was gonna die 😂
@GrandXenoTrue please do it
You were right it's in Xenoverse 2 now
I like it. It gives off an interstellar vibe which is oddly fitting. Much like how one must ascend past the sky to touch the stars so too must Gohan break through his previous limit to enter a new realm of power. But hey, that’s just what I think
"Is that all you've got? Okay then guess it'sy turn" the way that beast gohan says, it gives me chills🔥🔥🔥
I think this really wanted to show how calm the "beast" inside gohan is, not a beast that sought destruction, but righteousness.
Thank you, Toriyama for everything
Gohan Beast feels like Gohan's inner raging beast has come forth, but now he has gained peaceful control over it, channeling it into that one epic attack.
Is it ain't just me or am I the only one that finds this theme beautiful and angelic?
Just like the Berserk Guts theme, Serenity when a character is good at heart but has suffered, really has so much power behind it when they let loose.
Favorite part in the movie just because of the Music and how calm he spoke.
It wasnt like other transformations at all.
This is certainly a Unique aspect of the DBverse
Usually, whenever someone shows up or does something, good or bad, a theme always goes wild in many angles, giving you all sorts of feelings: excitement, dread, fear, sadness, adrenaline, anything that boils the blood and keeps you on your toes.
however, despite of this cataclysmic fight, throughout the whole chaos that was unfolding by each second for everyone, this theme kept its soothing rhythm as if nothing else mattered, whatever happened regardless of the situation, even when Cell Max tried to silence it with his dreadful screams and attacks, the soothing echo reigned supreme.
This is no mere theme, it’s a message for everyone out there, that when this Gohan appears even if he looks like a Beast, peace will follow after no matter what. It’s a theme that once it starts playing, nothing else will interrupt it.
That special beam cannon was legendary!!
This gives me one of two vibes:
1) The start of a nature Documentary.
2) The Ending music for a "Rotten Tomatoes Family" Movie Clip.
This is so unusual for Dragon Ball. The music is usually either intense or bombastic as hell. This is is just calm and cool.
"Is that all you got? Okay then... guess it's my turn." Beast Gohan - 2022
This música was the key, something different for this transformation, sounds like a deep feeling of divine power. I was so impressed when I heard it.
Despite the chaos. The theme is so calming. It's like when gohan go ssj2 against cell but this time he learned to control himself
The theme that plays when you reach the final boss but you did all the side quests first.
I was wondering if it was just my ears hearing the ambient sound , but it made so much sense when seeing it all in action, all the colors and brutal beating piccolo was taking. Its almost like ringing in your eyes when your sense of sound is blown out , yet they made it seem melodic and calming
Something dbs finally got right. This theme brought me to tears. Perfectly suits this Gohan beast too for some reason, can't figure out why
I listen to this during my workout session, and you have no idea how this makes me break my old PR, I literally evolved because of this song, well done.
This theme embodies quiet rage
The eerie soft tones and almost tranquil but Melancholy music behind the moon pale skin, Hell Cat red eyes and ghostly hair mark the most menacing Gohan we’ve seen yet. Reminds of Roberta from Black lagoon when she lost her shit. Love this theme thanks for the upload
This was mind blowing and I just watched this movie today..
Gohan has come a long way to get to this point even though he needs more training but I'm glad he gets some acknowledgement!!
Saw this in 4dx and my god one of the best experiences I've ever had at the movie theater hands down
In Raditz moment Goku was main character, Gohan was suprise who weaken enemy, Piccolo was final weapon.
Ultra Instinct Omen Goku, Ultra Ego Vegeta, potentially Mastered Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Orange Piccolo, Beast Gohan, Black Frieza Dragon Ball The GOAT Anime
This type of music in Dragon Ball is very very rare to see and that's why this master piece seems unique to me. 🔥
I’ve also noticed that at the end of this OST, you can hear the music sort of ,,wiggle”, it may reference the bird appearing at Gohan’s first SSJ2 Transformation
I loved this scene. I haven't been this excited about Dragonball in years. If you haven't seen this in theaters you need to.
Our boy is back, I am in tears! Amazing upload, so fast too.
Yoo this is a sound only made by Gods. You would never think something like this could go soo well w/ a scene it’s beautiful and it made it feel soo epic, and intense. Love It!!!
Epic sound, the ambience is beautiful.
This sounds surreal.. like, and unknown adventure that awaits us.. "A journey of a thousand miles.. begins with one step in the right direction"...
If someone has a theme that is this calm and is THAT strong, run. You never stood a chance my guy.
Whis: “ or maybe the strongest warrior emerged somewhere else in our universe.. “
If it’s not a new character Whis is talking about, it’s gotta be either Beast Gohan or Black Frieza
I love how calm this was for gohan. Really suited the scene
🔥 solid ending
The whole time I was waiting for the beat drop and there wasn't, but somehow this still slaps.
My heart was pounding got GOOSEBUMPS loved it !!! Not gonna lie dropped some tears lol
The intensity was going so high that it went into a phase of serenity as its climax
Gohan finally learned how to control his anger
This theme came out of nowhere and it was quite a welcomed change from what we're typically used to. It really gave off this vibe that Gohan has ascended to this new realm of power that should send shivers down your spine. I was in awe the entire time seeing what was transpiring on screen to what I was listening to. Awesome track
Vouch for this. I sat there in the cinema gawping at the screen with shivers down my spine throughout. And definitely a tear or two in my eye as he kicked cell in the stomach and performed the makkankosappo. SSj2 was always gohans peak form and I'm so glad they bought it back.
“SPECIAL. BEAM. CANON!!”
Beast Gohan is frightening. The silence of this theme sends chills down my spine.
Eerily fitting for this form. It makes it seem that much more unstoppable
This theme suits Gohan perfectly the ambiance is truly amazing.
This theme represents gohans peaceful nature that he has always had from the beginning he dosnt want to fight he is serene in nature .
This deserves way more than 221k views
This was my favorite scene in any dragon ball movie to date
