@@Danboi. The only reason I really keep up with the new tech still! I’m learning that the iPhone is really just a crazy good camera phone but there are some glaring issues otherwise. The modem really has been not that great in the 5G devices until the 14….and it is just way too expensive.

How are you liking the switch? I bought my first iphone last year (13) and I'm tapping out. Bunch of small things adding up to = not for me. Considering the P7 Pro or an S22.
@@TravelersWarden I switch back and forth every few years between iPhone and Android so it's no big deal but apple keeps releasing the same phone for crazy prices and no change. The p7 is a 600 dollar top tier phone which is a no brainer.
@@TravelersWarden the 7 pro honestly was out of the price range of paying for my first Google phone. No need to drop almost a grand the first time around. Also I am a avid gym person so the regular 7 doesn't weigh as much as the pro model easier for me to carry around. I may go to a pro model on the pixel 8 depending on what extra features they pack in. A slightly better camera to look through my neighbors windows or to gaze at stars at night isn't enough me to go to a pro model lol. Now if they included like a years worth of a subscription to my liking or a pair of headphones then yes the pro model would be a better buying option.

It's true! I never throw the old charger away if it still works I keep them. You can never have too many chargers. Floss is right for $900 they could put more in the box for sure!
I use this phone every day and I still accidentally turn my phone off because the power button is in the wrong spot. They do need to give us a charger block, and make the phone more customizable for us. I like setting my phone to look the way I want it, but Pixel is telling me what my home screen should look like and I have a problem doing what I'm told

I used to own the Pixel 6 and I hated the slow fingerprint sensor and a few other things I was not crazy about...I just got the Pixel 7Pro...and it's a whole new phone. Absolutely BEAST all around!!
Kudos to you for staying pixel after the issues with the Pixel 6. hopefully it stays being a beast. After I heard about all the glitches and issues with the pixel 6 I jumped to the iPhone because the trust was gone.

This is so entertaining, I love how he explaines what trash and semi trash are for a few minutes with an extensive story, just to say that the camera is semi trash, or the little jokes and remarks like the one about hugging trees. Hilarious!
Got it and love it. Got the Pixel 6 last year and it was a mixture of ok and nightmare due to several major bugs on day one. It also felt somewhat Pixelish but not very premium due to the bulky but heavy on the bezel design. Pixel 7 Pro Rocks. Feels premium, fast and fluid like nothing else, best cam especially if you have kids, no bugs, no pain. Love it.
Yes sir! Sometimes I get bored of my Pixel and try out other Android phones. But I just go back to the Pixel for the fact that it just works. The camera is just amazing. All I want is Google for the Pixel 8 to have faster charging speeds and it would be perfect!

4XL SOLI face unlock never gets old. I can't believe Google offered $300 for shattered 4XL, plus $200 pre-order credit with 7 Pro. $399 flagship, if you think that way.
I went from the 6pro to the 7pro and it's actually better in my experience. Highly improved fingerprint scanner, face unlock, better battery experience (so far), it's smoother and assistant is a tad more responsive, and the screen brightness in direct sunlight is much better. Camera is the same except for the extra gimmick like unblur and marcro. If you get a pixel, it's for the experience, the software and machine learning, call screening, direct my call and hold for me type stuff. All of these phones are spec'd out but not all of them are actually "smart" like the pixel is to a degree.
This. I also went from 6 pro to 7 pro and basically is having the same phone but more refined in all aspects: battery life, cameras, screen, mics, speakers, modem... I wish Google keeps doing the same!

I love these Snyder Cuts. I work 12s and I have the night shift so these videos fill my downtime. I was waiting on this video too. I have the Z fold 4, Pixel 6 Pro, and 13 pro Max. I couldn’t get the 14 because they dropped the sim tray so I was thinking about trading my pixel in for this one. I’m sold.
I think the average person should upgrade like every 4 years when the battery starts going bad if you bought a flagship... I say that because when you upgrade you want it to feel like an upgrade and getting a new phone every 2 years is not going to feel much different so you're never going to notice the improvement...
I don't mind the volume buttons being lower. I use the volume buttons more than the power button, so it's convenient that it is more accessible. But I don't switch between different often phones, so I didn't even notice the placement being different.
As always Floss another great entertaining video! Exactly why I use this phone. The email capabilities are endless with the voice transcription, multitasking at it's finest!
Great review. I was planning to return Pixel 7 pro since the battery life seemed to be a downgrade over S22 plus but considering the smoothness of the phone and all software features and of course your review, I'll keep it.
I have the galactaus 22 ultra , but I must say that the Pixel phone has a lot of signature features, inside the software, tons of AI in the phone app, recodring app, etc, that you dont get in any other phone. they are far ahead of other phones in machine learning and AI features.
I had the S22 Ultra and have the 7 Pro now. Need to give props to Samsung's granular settings and customization. But the real game changer nobody really talks about is Bixby Routines. It can automate so much of your daily workflow and is extremely powerful. Google is a software company and they have nothing like that on Pixels.
Was actually going to get an Iphone 14, because I wanted a not to huge phone, and the pixel 7 got me, I am so happy with my White Pixel 7, Super smooth & all "transitioning from a Oneplus 7T tho"
@P.S Rouz Different purpose, I also got an Iphone but is just because my racing team media guy has it for airdrop all my pictures & videos. In terms of apps & shit I use more stuffs on Android, so the Pixel 7 is my daily & the Iphone 13 is my "media" use phone
I did upgrade from the 6 pro to the 7 pro and I notice a difference in the phone in general being smoother and better battery life and the phone not getting as hot as well. But I am in that percentage that needs to have the latest tech lol
I have the Pixel 6 Pro and have really enjoyed the experience (haven't had the modem issues commonly reported). It's the first time I used the fingerprint reader, but I had the 4XL and LOVED the Face Unlock (still miss it) I'll probably wait for the Pixel 8 Series, because it seems that Google's first iteration of tech needs refinement before it's competitive with other top brands. I expect the fingerprint sensor and the new camera-only face unlock will be ready to roll on the 8 Series.

I traded for the new one. Just cuz I was having small issues with it that effected my work. Luckily zero issues the 7 pro so far. Also agreed every new phone should come with a block and some accessories.
Another Flossy B. DeMille masterpiece of epic proportions! I upgraded from the 6 Pro to 7 Pro because with the trade-in, $225 promo, and my $50 credit, my price was $205. The 7 Pro feels snappier and smoother without the screen freezes or lags I sometimes got with my 6 Pro. If you're looking for a great case, look up the Dbrand Grip. Best case I've ever used for iPhone or Pixel.

It blows my mind that chargers arent in the box because of the environment yet these phone companies manufacturer millions of phones year after year with the most minor upgrades imaginable. These phones should be lasting years without needed to upgrade hardware.
I've had a 4XL since launch LoL! safe to say my upgrade is warranted(Android 13 was the last official update)... should be delivered sometime tomorrow... appreciate the detailed review as always 🤙🏾💯

I own the Pixel 6 Pro and I will upgrade to the Pixel 7 Pro for two reasons. 1) The juicy trade-in amount of $600.00 for my 6 Pro. 2) I believe Google is going in the right direction by designing its own chip and I believe they will be successful with it. Google currently designs its own cloud server chips. If Google perfects its chip design and pairs it with flawless software, they will give Apple a run for its money. Then it will be hard for Apple to shut them down like they did Huawei.
They can design their chip because they are an "American" company, Huawei does it then is a "national security threat", that's why Samsung doesn't risk to ditch Qualcomm

I got the 7 Pro after being in the Samsung Eco system since the Note 2. I still use my Fold 2 for my main phone and 7 Pro for my second line. I enjoy the 7 Pro it's something different from what I'm use too. I'm not getting another Fold until they put an S Pen inside it.
There's already a case for the fold 4 that includes the pen in the case, the pixel 7 pro doesn't have a pen is good but charges very slow and coming from Samsung I miss all the Samsung features and extra software
Traded in my S22Ultra for a Pixel 7 Pro and good lord it's a massive upgrade. Smoothest day to day experience I've ever had on Android. The haptic feedback alone is worth buying.

@@craigduncan1626 Pixel is miles ahead in smoothness and stability. S pen novelty wore off after 3 days for me. The menu, UI, and icons of Samsung look 5 years behind in my opinion. I do miss the screen brightness of the Samsung but after using the Pixel 7 Pro I'm definitely not looking back.

I traded in my s22 ultra for this and honestly I don't think the Samsung is touching the 7pro. So much smoother, better camera, better battery. Yeah missing some cool software features. I'd much rather have the better camera and smoother os. Especially sense rooting is so easy on a pixel. This is my first pixel device and I'm loving it. Dope review as always floss.
Is it really? I'm just asking, some people change because they tired of same type phone they have had for years and want something new? I'm there, I've had a Note 10 plus for years but Ultra 22 seem like same phone. Im Thinking about iPhone or 7 Pro just because it's different 🤷🏾♂️ although may not be better all around.
Lmao, I have the S22U and 7 Pro, love them both, but the S22U is still ultimately way better... I use 16 Bit Expert Raw, so I get consistently overall better pics on my S22U, S-Pen, Dex, Good lock, are miles ahead of anything on my 7 Pro... With that said, the 7 Pro definitely feels a little smoother, and has better standard video, but the total customization on the S22U cannot be beat period.

Highly recommend to upgrade to pixel 7 pro. I had the 6 pro but the fingerprint sensor and front camera were very lack luster. The 7 pro solves all that and then some. Every department seems like it got an upgrade even the screen has better color reproduction which not many people have mentioned. This is what the pixel 6 pro should've been. Got $560 trade in value for for 6 pro 128gb and $200 gift card on top of that at best buy. You won't regret the upgrade.

I always expect to run into you at at an airport which would be so dope but the bottom line is your station is fire I'm a 66 year old brother who watches you religiously and white shoes! As a white person. I also have this drawer. The only phones I “throw away” are going to phone recycler or on FB marketplace. I still got an old iPhone 7 that’s completely water damaged. But I’ll keep it until I can repair it. I don’t care if I’ll never use those cords again. I’d rather have it clutter up my house then the environment. So for those of us that go out of our way to protect the planet it’s absolutely crap that we don’t get a charger in the box

I use this phone every day and I still accidentally turn my phone off because the power button is in the wrong spot. They do need to give us a charger block, and make the phone more customizable for us. I like setting my phone to look the way I want it, but Pixel is telling me what my home screen should look like and I have a problem doing what I'm told

I used to own the Pixel 6 and I hated the slow fingerprint sensor and a few other things I was not crazy about...I just got the Pixel 7Pro...and it's a whole new phone. Absolutely BEAST all around!!
Kudos to you for staying pixel after the issues with the Pixel 6. hopefully it stays being a beast. After I heard about all the glitches and issues with the pixel 6 I jumped to the iPhone because the trust was gone.

Got it and love it. Got the Pixel 6 last year and it was a mixture of ok and nightmare due to several major bugs on day one. It also felt somewhat Pixelish but not very premium due to the bulky but heavy on the bezel design. Pixel 7 Pro Rocks. Feels premium, fast and fluid like nothing else, best cam especially if you have kids, no bugs, no pain. Love it.

I went from the 6pro to the 7pro and it's actually better in my experience. Highly improved fingerprint scanner, face unlock, better battery experience (so far), it's smoother and assistant is a tad more responsive, and the screen brightness in direct sunlight is much better. Camera is the same except for the extra gimmick like unblur and marcro. If you get a pixel, it's for the experience, the software and machine learning, call screening, direct my call and hold for me type stuff. All of these phones are spec'd out but not all of them are actually "smart" like the pixel is to a degree.
This. I also went from 6 pro to 7 pro and basically is having the same phone but more refined in all aspects: battery life, cameras, screen, mics, speakers, modem... I wish Google keeps doing the same!

I don't mind the volume buttons being lower. I use the volume buttons more than the power button, so it's convenient that it is more accessible. But I don't switch between different often phones, so I didn't even notice the placement being different.

I have the galactaus 22 ultra , but I must say that the Pixel phone has a lot of signature features, inside the software, tons of AI in the phone app, recodring app, etc, that you dont get in any other phone. they are far ahead of other phones in machine learning and AI features.
I had the S22 Ultra and have the 7 Pro now.
Need to give props to Samsung's granular settings and customization. But the real game changer nobody really talks about is Bixby Routines. It can automate so much of your daily workflow and is extremely powerful.
Google is a software company and they have nothing like that on Pixels.
Was actually going to get an Iphone 14, because I wanted a not to huge phone, and the pixel 7 got me, I am so happy with my White Pixel 7, Super smooth & all "transitioning from a Oneplus 7T tho"

I did upgrade from the 6 pro to the 7 pro and I notice a difference in the phone in general being smoother and better battery life and the phone not getting as hot as well. But I am in that percentage that needs to have the latest tech lol

I have the Pixel 6 Pro and have really enjoyed the experience (haven't had the modem issues commonly reported). It's the first time I used the fingerprint reader, but I had the 4XL and LOVED the Face Unlock (still miss it)
I'll probably wait for the Pixel 8 Series, because it seems that Google's first iteration of tech needs refinement before it's competitive with other top brands. I expect the fingerprint sensor and the new camera-only face unlock will be ready to roll on the 8 Series.

It blows my mind that chargers arent in the box because of the environment yet these phone companies manufacturer millions of phones year after year with the most minor upgrades imaginable. These phones should be lasting years without needed to upgrade hardware.

I own the Pixel 6 Pro and I will upgrade to the Pixel 7 Pro for two reasons. 1) The juicy trade-in amount of $600.00 for my 6 Pro. 2) I believe Google is going in the right direction by designing its own chip and I believe they will be successful with it. Google currently designs its own cloud server chips. If Google perfects its chip design and pairs it with flawless software, they will give Apple a run for its money. Then it will be hard for Apple to shut them down like they did Huawei.
They can design their chip because they are an "American" company, Huawei does it then is a "national security threat", that's why Samsung doesn't risk to ditch Qualcomm

I got the 7 Pro after being in the Samsung Eco system since the Note 2. I still use my Fold 2 for my main phone and 7 Pro for my second line. I enjoy the 7 Pro it's something different from what I'm use too. I'm not getting another Fold until they put an S Pen inside it.
There's already a case for the fold 4 that includes the pen in the case, the pixel 7 pro doesn't have a pen is good but charges very slow and coming from Samsung I miss all the Samsung features and extra software

@@craigduncan1626 Pixel is miles ahead in smoothness and stability. S pen novelty wore off after 3 days for me. The menu, UI, and icons of Samsung look 5 years behind in my opinion. I do miss the screen brightness of the Samsung but after using the Pixel 7 Pro I'm definitely not looking back.

I traded in my s22 ultra for this and honestly I don't think the Samsung is touching the 7pro. So much smoother, better camera, better battery. Yeah missing some cool software features. I'd much rather have the better camera and smoother os. Especially sense rooting is so easy on a pixel. This is my first pixel device and I'm loving it. Dope review as always floss.

Lmao, I have the S22U and 7 Pro, love them both, but the S22U is still ultimately way better... I use 16 Bit Expert Raw, so I get consistently overall better pics on my S22U, S-Pen, Dex, Good lock, are miles ahead of anything on my 7 Pro... With that said, the 7 Pro definitely feels a little smoother, and has better standard video, but the total customization on the S22U cannot be beat period.

Highly recommend to upgrade to pixel 7 pro. I had the 6 pro but the fingerprint sensor and front camera were very lack luster. The 7 pro solves all that and then some. Every department seems like it got an upgrade even the screen has better color reproduction which not many people have mentioned. This is what the pixel 6 pro should've been. Got $560 trade in value for for 6 pro 128gb and $200 gift card on top of that at best buy. You won't regret the upgrade.

As a white person. I also have this drawer. The only phones I “throw away” are going to phone recycler or on FB marketplace. I still got an old iPhone 7 that’s completely water damaged. But I’ll keep it until I can repair it. I don’t care if I’ll never use those cords again. I’d rather have it clutter up my house then the environment. So for those of us that go out of our way to protect the planet it’s absolutely crap that we don’t get a charger in the box
