I’m moving to Raleigh with my daughter at the end of the year this video got her super excited
So glad to hear and thank you for sharing this! If you need any help finding a home, please don't hesitate to reach out, we would love to help!
really great city to call home
This was so helpful. I am planning to move there next summer with my two boys (a teen and a toddler). We are leaving Philly but I'm looking forward to small town feel and a better quality of life.
I'm glad it was helpful! It's a great place for a family. If you need any help with finding the right home for you, please don't hesitate to reach out!
As for food diversity, there is a lot. I moved to Raleigh from Sanford NC 5 months ago and I set as a modest goal to eat at a different restaurant once each week. Where I live in downtown Raleigh I have the choice of over 60 different restaurants within a 5 block walk. These include Lebanese, Japanese, Greek, Mexican, American, Italian, high-end, low-end, craft brewery, classic NC barbecue, James Beard award winners, Thai, Korean etc. If you can't find a food you like here then you don't like food. Plus, street parking is free on weekends from 6 PM Friday. And Raleigh has a chocolate store that makes its own candies on site, including 90% cocoa bars that, as a diabetic, I truly appreciate. Come and eat!
Thank you for sharing! That was a great goal of eating somewhere new every week!
I’m planning to move down there in the next 3 to 4 months, never been there before, don’t know anyone, kind of nervous, but I think it’s the right move. This video helps.
Glad that it helps! We have other videos on the channel about things to do around the area and our Instagram page @RelocatingtoRaleigh has a bunch as well. There's also tons of other great Instagrammers that can help you find fun things to do around the area and that can help get you integrated to the area and meet people. And if you need any help finding a house, feel free to reach out!
Can you visit before you move there?
When we work with relocation clients, we typically encourage people to come for an initial visit to get to know the area. You would do some fun things, see which area of the Triangle feels right to you, and maybe see a couple homes just to see at a high level what you can get for your money. If it still feels right, then your next trip would involve a more focused, house hunting itinerary in the location that suited you best. So yes, you can certainly visit and it's highly encouraged.
@@relocatingtoraleigh how do I set that up? I'm potentially visiting as soon as the 3rd week of this month
Hey Man, I am moving to Wake Forest in September of this year. I have a bunch of friends in the area. I have visited a bunch of times and the quality of life is much better, atleast compared to my current city (Atlanta).
Great video! This helps so much. Planning to move to Raleigh later this year. How about the average price of renting a 1B1B there?
Thank you! Overall, 1 bedroom apartments are averaging around $1200/mo right now across the board. Obviously location plays a major role in the pricing, as 1 bedrooms in downtown will be more in the $1500-$1800/mo range, and North Hills will be a little less than that. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Go Canes!
Fr thank you
👍 👍 💯
Appreciate it!
This video was so much more pleasant that the reasons NOT to move to Raleigh. CONS of Raleigh. Some people really really dog on Raleigh. I’m hoping to love it when we move from Alaska
It will be much different than Alaska for sure! Thank you so much for your comment. If you need any help finding a home, don't hesitate to reach out!
On mark 3:12 what neighborhood is that, beautiful!
Hey! At the 3:12 mark, that's actually showing the new Downtown Cary Park, it's amazing!
I really want to move here but I live in London England, have no clue where to start
I would be happy to help! Feel free to send me an email and we can coordinate an introductory phone call for me to walk you through the process.
when people are talking about the lack of food they are talking about halal and kosher type of foods
I can certainly understand that
Im interested in flipping for investment. Im in Chicago.
There are certainly opportunities available in the area, but you do need to consider timing so that you're buying in slower periods like winter and selling in the summer. If you need any help, feel free to reach out.
Hi im on Mediterranean diet does raleigh have vegetarian festivals??$$😊
Hi! Yes there's an annual VegFest downtown and neighboring Durham has something similar as well. There's quite a few restaurants around with vegetarian themes and Raleigh has a really great Farmers Market as well (as do pretty much each suburb of their own).
Have the salaries whent up
Yes they have, greater than the national average, but they have still not kept up with the housing market increases.
@relocatingtoraleigh compare it to another state please
Florida?
Texas ?
Arizona?
If possible?
Do you help with rentals as well ?
Charlotte is nice bit raleigh isnworth visiting in 2 weeks God's will
Accordingly to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, NC salaries increased by 3.4% between summer 2022 and 2023. This is just above Texas, and just below Tennessee. Arizona was 3.9% and Florida was 4.3%, two of the states with higher increases. So NC is in the top third, but not near the top.
