You do in Washington, there’s an 8032-B and 4016 that replaced a WS-3000 in Puyallap and 3 other whelens in carnation that are were replaced with 8032-Bs.
As well as all of the other whelens in the Puyallup River Valley being replaced by either 8032-Bs or 2001-130s (the 130s were also replaced with 8032-Bs sadly)
lil update on that, testing will resume at some point, but until further notice the sirens will not be tested. it was also a Federal Signal Employees fault for the false alarm, as they were doing remote siren work and didn't turn off the "siren communications" (or radios) meaning it was a completely avoidable false alarm. :/
@@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast blame one of Federals employees cause apparently they can do remote work on FS sirens and the employee who was doing remote work on the TDWS forgot to deactivate the "siren communications" causing the false alarm, testing is discontinued only until SPU finishes their investigation all the info is from the systems article, link here: www.seattle.gov/utilities/neighborhood-projects/tolt-dam-emergency-warning-system
Whelen wps and modulator are the best duos
especially analog whelens too!
Whelen wps: bye 😢
Modulator: 😭😭😭
RIP TDWS testing
RIP 🪦 Whelen WPS
Ive never heard a Modulator doing an actual attack signal. Also RIP Thunderbolt
Yea the thunderbolt has seen better days.
Any reason why the Whelen 2808 is inactive before the 8032-B was set up.
The 8032 was originally a 6024-b and they just switched the head out for a 8032 -b for the extra wattage for more sound output.
Nice video!
A federal signal replacing a Whelen you don’t see that every day

@@tornadof25 awesome I approve of this👍🏻
I can't believe they stopped testing. It's so stupid.
I 100% agree, they should just switch to chimes.

Why the voice is now new
It has been since November 2023 and it’s because it’s louder and has more clarity than the old voice.
I like louder too all of the people heard it
@@ruthmaenavarro1486you wish! The things are still quiet as heck
