We've been told your suspension tuning for the DR650 involved not only fluid mechanics but quantum mechanics as well to resolve damping issues at the sub atomic level.
Gazza. apparently you use a blend of fork oil and brake fluid as an aftershave to try and repel the many girls who throw themselves in front of you on the track when attemping the Suzuki DR650 world record jump.
That is the story of Gazza Gohard from FFRC, a hero in his on lunchtime. From zero to hero in two seconds flat, just when you thought it was safe to go back on the track. Watch out for Gazza and his mighty DR650, coming to a podium near you.
This is possibly my most serious disclaimer to date. Please note this video contains footage of stunts thought to be impossible. Do not try these at home. Do not even imagine these DR650 stunts in your mind as you will probably fry your synapses. There is also footage of a man on a DR650 so brimming with testosterone that many males will faint just watching this video, and a small percentage of previously straight men will suddenly think they are gay. The DR650 in this video may appear to be friendly to this rider, but he has only tamed it through brute charisma - the average male will not survive an encounter with this magnificent but wild savage beast.

Barry - STRAIGHT UP - I only have THE MIGHTY SUZUKI DR 650 Because of you, and other "Outback" reviews. I'm over 60 - been riding since I was about 5 (if you count mini-bikes) - and it IS - BAR NONE - the best bike I have ever owned. My 1979 Husky 390 OR is 2nd - when I used to Desert Race in the late '70's / early '80's. I have owned this amazing bike for going on 6 years now. A little over 10,000 miles on it (US) - I will take a single cylinder, carbureted, air cooled THUMPER any freakin day of the week. No fuel injection, computers, ride modes, radiator, ABS & on & on - I have had ZERO problems - and by the way (PHX., AZ - U.S.A.) there is no check engine light that comes on when it's 120° when I'm stopped at a traffic signal. The DR does not care at all..... TRUST ME !!!!!

yea, it goes straight up between the small mx track and the medium mx track, it pretty steep and gnarly especially when it gets really washed out. Keep up the awesome vids!

Very serious disclaimer, indeed! This rider is certainly not as good as Ronnie Mac at looking bad on a motorcycle. Only a very good rider can look as bad as Ronnie Mac. But only an outstanding force of nature can be as good as Gazza Gohard. He is just too good to look bad.
What i don't like abont Ronnie Mac is: even when he looks like a fool on a bike he is still much faster than the vast majority of us, riders. What an humiliation! Out of empathy, he should stay serious and stick to his ama professional racer job...
doing this vid has introduced me to mr mac, he's definitely an interesting character and i didn't realise he is a professional racer.... although the fact he can ride very well is obvious of course.
His real name is Jimmy Albertson. Looking at this, I just found that his wife is Georgia, who
is a member of the presenting crew of the ama races. She is the woman interviewing racers.
