I went to an audition with this song I did impress the public not with my skills but with how beautiful the song was. For some of the judge it was the first time they've heard such a piece and that I was the first to make that piano to have that kind of sound. This episode was absolutely stunning the entire thing I was just thinking no no no no no I already knew what was gonna happen but it was almost as if I had no idea the voice acting oh my god the voice acting you really felt the despair in everyone also the scene where rem saves Subaru is way more graphic in the LN but I like how the anime delt with it a lot
I was actually surprised by the fact that the guy who acted Betelgeuse is the same as the guy who acted kirito in SAO. Although by the voice it was kinda predictable

I've rewatched it at least 11 times by now. When I started this "happy go luck, harem series with a gimmick" I would never have expected this much shit to go down and for it to have been executed this damn well.
I absolutely loved episode 15. How the characters emotions were displayed like when Subaru went into shutdown mode. This shows that Subaru thought he could escape by not interacting with the world but he faced the grim fate of his descision later on when rem died. At the end when Subaru starts again on more time he has a newfound goal and something that drives him to accomplish it. You can literally SEE his determination in his eyes portrayed with red. Newfound goal: to kill betelemuse The emotions the drives Subaru: hatred anger bloodlust
Wow.... This is just incredible. I love the despaired, mournful, yet gentle singing line that begins and ends the piece. I wish it lasted a little longer. It beautifully contrasts the fury that embodies the core of the piece. Such a beautiful expression of sadness and anger.

This is honestly one of the most beautiful piano renditions of an orchestral piece i've heard in a long time. I looked pretty hard just to find this OST piece and I'm waiting for the full version to come out, but man.... I usually blow by credit scenes... but the rolling credits with this song going and the cliffhanger.... it was just too good. Thank you for making this video. I also believe it's going under a different name as well: Absolute Despair. at least that's what others are naming it
