This is great. I’ve done this repair a couple of times since owning the machine. The belt seems to go every 2-3 years. It is an opportunity to vacuum out all the accumulated fluff from inside the machine so I guess thats stops it becoming a fire hazard!

I had about half inch too much over, after fitting new seal. I cut it off. Wondering if a slight smear of silicon grease on new pads might be beneficial? I also removed humidity sensor and found loads of fluff. Perhaps that's why it's not working correctly.

Great video - can those pads be removed in-situ i.e. without taking the whole thing apart (from inside the drum)...?

I have the drcs68w beko dryer and I'm unable to take off the heater cover on the rear of the machine due to it being screwed and riveted in place. How do I take off the drum so I can access the area to replace the felt please.
