Thank you. we're pleased you've enjoyed watching it. We have a video on our channel from last year's event, which you may like. There's also some stop-motion animation videos my grandson has filmed on his OO guage layout, which are great fun. The Dukes of Hazzard one is quite popular. There's also a series documenting my grandson's 009 narrow gauge layout build. Thank you again for watching. We're popping over to your channel now... Cheers James 🙂👍
Thank you, and yes, there were some really nice locos there, and the Roundhouse is a great place to visit, especially when there's an event on. We've been to a few concerts there as well, a great setting for a concert in the shed with a couple of locos in there as well... Cheers James 🙂👍
Thanks for this. Loved the idea of Shaun the Sheep and Tigger etc. on a layout. Good idea to hide something on exhibition layouts for kids to spot. Keep up your good work. Marti x
Thank you, we're pleased you've enjoyed watching it. We liked the layout with Tigger and friends on. It was a great fun layout , which, as you know, we enjoyed having fun with our layout... Cheers, James and Dylan 🙂👍
Hi Pete, we're pleased you've enjoyed our video. We tried to give an overall view of the event rather than just the layouts. It's only just down the road from us, so we try and get down there at least once a year. We went to the garden railway exhibition last year, and enjoyed it,so we thought we'd visit it again this year. I'll bet it was a great sight to see all those class 58's together ....cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James. What a brilliant day out. Loved the variety, model railway and heritage. Those exhibits were superb. Thanks for showing us James. Thumbs up thumped 👍 ....Pete and Su....
Hi Pete, I am pleased you enjoyed the video, we had a great day out there. There was plenty to see. We've tried to give a feel for the event by trying to show most things rather than just the layouts ...cheers James 🙂👍
It was, we had a great day out there, Chris. There was plenty to see there, and we've tried to show an overall view of the event rather than just the layouts... Cheers, James and Dylan 🙂👍
Yes, it's certainly a great place to visit, especially when they've got an event on. You're right there about it possibly being expensive, with all those traders there at the event it could have been very costly...cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James, thank you for sharing your day out at Barrow Hill, I enjoyed watching this very much. The 45 was immaculate with its shiny Blue livery. All the best, Paul.👍👍🙏
I love Barrow Hill. It's more of a museum these days, I remember when they served sausage sandwiches with a mug of tea sat with very little room on a freezing day, trying to keep warm round the fire.
Hi Steve, Yes, those were the days. They don't have the galas like they used to, I guess it's the cost of putting them on and lack of volunteers, plus, like everywhere else, the pandemic did them no favours. Fortunately, it's only just down the road from us...cheers James 🙂👍
We had a really good day and tried to get to see everything we could. We loved your layout. It was great to meet, and we will be watching more of your videos, and hopefully, you'll enjoy some of our nonsense. Thank you for watching... Cheers, James and Dylan 🙂👍
We're pleased you've enjoyed watching this video. we had a great time there. Fortunately, we are only a couple of miles away from this venue. It has a great history and was saved from demolition at the very last hour. There's two more videos from Barrow Hill Roundhouse on our channel and also one from the Wirksworth model railway exhibition from last year... Cheers James 🙂👍
Hello James and Dylan, that looks like a cool show, I do like the large scales, It Would be nice to have one in the Garden. Barrow Hill is cool, I hope to revisit next year. Take care karl and Debbie.
It was a really interesting show, with lots to see. There were some great models there and traders, with a good selection of models and accessories. Let me know if you are going again, and we'll try to get down and meet up... Cheers, James and Dylan 🙂👍
Greetings Dylan and James 👋 It looks like you guys had a fabulous day out with the trains 🤩 Hopefully you were able to pick up a few items for Dylington from the vendors 🤞 My favourite part, had to be the "Pooh Train" with Tigger driving 👀😍 TTFN 😎 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️
Hi Paul, we had a great time. There was plenty to see, unfortunately, or fortunately everything was far too big a scale to be of use to us. However, there were some ideas formed from things we saw. We liked the whole layout with the Pooh train on ...cheers James and Dylan 🙂👍
