He has histrionic personality disorder. He has all the traits of one. A few of their common characteristic traits are being seductive and flirtatious. When with a group of others, they actually feel uncomfortable if the conversation / topic isn't about them. They, as we all know, are manipulative. They constantly seek attention. They lack emotion. Any emotional reaction that you see is forced / fake. Charlie dispises women because he believes they don't see him for who he thinks he is. He has to use women to get attention and s*x.. He knows he's different and is resentful because of it. A healthy woman with a decent head on their shoulders wouldn't give him the time of day. That's why he prefers women who are lower status / class than him because they're easy to manipulate and use by means of his charm, money and lifestyle Again, he resents this, but it's his own doing.

I also believe he doesn’t want his nephews to think this was all his idea… his anger is growing by the day, the book she wrote, that foreshadowed everything, her drive by the crime scene, her retelling, the joke to several people, her, throwing him under the bus during her police interview… And after 47 years, he no longer has contact with Donna, so the ties that bind are breaking… He’s slowly going to start seeing things more clearly again this is all just my intuition and feeling… But I believe it.
I doubt he'd flip on Donna (& Harvey) though, so as long as they're alive, he's not going to flip on Wendi. Making a deal (as Luis did) requires telling the full truth.
