Great information especially for a novice.Thank you! I'm so afraid to damage paint with wrong pad, or abrasive.. A website or database showing details on clear hardness/softness would be a game changer after the endless research.. thank you again.
Thanks for this. I’ve been looking for this exact instruction. I’m just getting into paint correction and worked on Toyota and Honda. I did notice that the Honda was much easier to get done. Can you talk about single stage next?
Even Isuzu Ute has extremely soft clear coat. Get scratches every now and then. Super annoying. Appreciate if you could provide a solution. Btw, I'm not a pro, just need some tips for my own car.
You can't tell until you start working with it but the question is what makes the difference. How are the hard clearcoat or soft clearcoat applied that results in that way or is it a question of how the clearcoat ages from the application?
Piss on foreign cars! Is there a rule of thumb for domestic cars, you know, the ones that my friends, neighbors, and relatives depend on for their living?

Seems my harder Audi clear takes on rock chips like no other. Is this common with harder paint?
What about American cars
used yellow wool rupes pad on ford black paint looked like i left marred paint
how about Japanese Nissan built in UK? hard?
(or american Tesla built in China?)
I've got a a new Lexus RX made in Canada, not Japan, soft or hard? 🤷♂️
And there's also medium hard clears
Not sure why I got here, but I'll save you the time, just use foam on everything
