I think something like this could really happen in an 8 year relationship - even one as strong as theirs. Marriage is ups and downs. Sometimes people even need counseling to get back on the right track. Problems are often a matter of perspectives, and they certainly had different takes on what was happening and how they should have dealt with it. They came through it, though, with flying colors because Eden eventually sorted out her feelings and they talked it through at Pebble Creek. Their alter egos provided great lessons. Cruz allowed pride and rigidity to get in the way. Eden had been somewhat immature from the beginning. She makes an amazing speech later where she talks about how she needs Cruz's guidance. And, as Cruz said, the experience helped them realize they were not invincible, so they learned they could not take the marriage for granted and needed to be alert to outside forces. This sounds like their marriage grew stronger. It's a great lesson to help a marriage endure. And endure they would have if Marcy had not left the show. Mason and Julia endured through the show's ending, so you know Cruz and Eden would have. The writers screwed it up, of course, but they were up a creek with trying to figure out how to have Cruz continue on the show without Eden. Killing her off would have been too sad. I took solace in the fact that Eden's last words on the show were "I love you" (which she mouthed) to Cruz. This couple was supposed to endure. I choose to believe that Cruz found Eden, they reconciled, and they are living in Mexico with their children and grandchildren.
I stopped watching when Cruz & Eden got back together after the Robert storyline. They had become so boring. I think the reason they were so popular was that the audience consisted largely of lonely women who were madly in love with A Martinez, and idolized Cruz & Eden as a couple, and weren't really interested in quality entertainment.
Eden is wondering where Robert is? She should be with her family, but she’s looking for Robert ? He is not her husband. Even Robert tells her to go home? But she don’t. Cause Eden wants both men all to herself.
I love these chapters, thank you so much! Laura, you'll hate me but I love Robert Barr... 😬 For Kelly of course! 😜
I keep thinking how rude it is that they brought this special clock back with them and it was put in the guest house 😆

I actually thought the Robert Barr storyline was very compelling and extremely well acted. I think I agree the writing got worse after that.
That Kelly/Robert storyline was a big mistake 😔🙄
Большое спасибо.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
