@ChristophLehner I enjoy all of your videos and creativity. Knowing that you are skillfull, do you think you could creat a video/project on a diy dynamic balance machine? Soft bearing carriage, accelerometers, Arduino, etc. I know you are capable and would find it useful in your many projects. I also enjoy the way you teach and visualize, there's no other creator that I'd enjoy this more than you.
XD
Over the top and awesome execution as always! One step closer to a feature length youtube video too :) PS, love the 'seafoam green' coloured keys with the timber. Tickles my fancy for mid-century modern furniture :) :)
Did you get the case from a site or did you model it yourself? I imagine it's not super difficult to make that part with fusion???, but there's always some gotcha I don't think about. I'm not sure I have the patience to do what you did with the pcb (was that custom as well?) but wow, what an amazing board. I was thinking about doing the keys in walnut with my existing board. I guess I have patience for different things:) Again, super beautiful!
Nah, I modeled it on my own, took some trial and error, but wasn't to complicated The PCB and plate are from ymdk But I already plan on making another case for a gasket mount 😅 Horrible hobby to get into
Well... now I want to make a keyboard. Slick shit, man!
thanks mate! trust me, thats a rabbit hole, you dont wanna go down :D
Come back to us, brother… I’m pretty sure you need a visit with your therapist after 7+ months
He is working to be able to pay for the last time he went to his therapist I guess.
I missed you Bob! 😅
miss your machining videos. Hope you make some more and are doing well. Good health to you.
Same as the others. Hope you doing good.
This is just amazing, seriously good craftsmanship. What was the stuff you dipped the bare wood into, was that a stain of some sort?
thanks mate!
i dipped it in linseed oil

Thank you very much for the kind words.
Probably not in the near future, too many other side projects going on 😅

Wow beautiful work, are you selling the file by any chance? I want to start a project like that so bad but I suck at modeling.
Looks incredible - super schick!
Als nächstes ein Holzmodem für extra langsames Internet! 🤣

Very nice Christoph. By the way what lathe was that? Looked nice and big.
Thanks Julian!
It's a 1987 Emco Maximat Super 11. An Austrian machine brand. It's the perfect size for a hobby machinist
@@ChristophLehner ahh very nice! I nearly got an emco myself (it had a vertical mill on it too), I’ve always regretted not buying it. Great machines.
Our brains must have a quantum tunnel linking the the project idea region or something
It's like a disease 😅
Cool video and even cooler result. Awesome!
Thanks mate!
Much appreciated
is he dead?
