This is actually four separate Switches showing on one TV using a fancy device, you can play with a second player on the same screen using Gooigi like in the story mode but otherwise ya need friends with Switches to connect to

@@omardiaz3557 For this mode, only two players can play on one Switch, co-op like the main game. There's a different mode called "ScreamPark" where 8 people can play on one Switch.
