This is sad…most women in Africa are going through this. Women are being treated as a piece of shit in Africa, this has to stop. Thank God she’s financially independent. Most women end up staying in such situations especially when they’re financially dependent on the man. This type of conversations get me so angry and sick to my stomach

Sad truths. If all women were to tell it all, hmn, many males who call themselves men would be taken to the evil forest. Women are really suffering and smiling especially due to financial setback and religious dogma coupled with mothering responsibility. Many die of depression due to constant marital slavery. Women, please if you can shift, do so fast

Mentor in suffering is real 🤣🤣. In Africa, almost every woman has a mentor of sufferness in marriage. You would have those women who would tell you that it is normal to suffer in marriage. They would tell you how being at the mercy of your in-laws is not new. Very crazy shit down here ☹️

I dont know who this lady is, I left Naija a long time ago and dont follow the social circle there but what your husband did by telling you " a good woman builds her home bla bla bla is what is called gaslighting. What happened to you is exactly what happened to me and the Pastors teach us to pray and stay in it. Let's not condemn God or church like she said but let's know all societies are patriarchal and they established their dominance and set the rules for society since time immemorial. They set the rules to suit themselves. I am glad this generation is realizing it and speaking out but we need bigger platforms that is open not closed not based on subscription but one accessible to even the illiterate in the market place. More importantly start teaching your girls that a man is not better than them, wiser than them or higher than them because they have something between their legs. You also have something in between yours. God made us equal male and female., created he them. As for praying and fasting, no one tells the man to pray and fast when the woman is misbehaving, they simply push her out, but we waste time praying and fasting for a wilful man. Do not forget God made all of us with a free will, it takes the grace of God to use prayers to change the mind of a determined person who knows what he is doing and set in his ways or who actually believes he is in the right. Most Nigerian men believe it is their birthright to Lord it over their wives, to control her life, money and everything. Chai I suffered in the hands of an illiterate. Most women can really do big things on their won. Today, I can buy him and his family a 100 times. He goes on social media to spy on what I'm doing while he is suffering in his village. He's sending people to give him my number. I said if you are the only man on the face of the earth I will go to heaven single. How much more there are a few out there who know your worth. Start teaching your boys how to be a human not a monster. Shikena

A lot of people are just walking around & are very sick & just hoping for a miracle to help them. A wise woman by builds her home?, have we read how Abigail protected her home ? Did she cover her foolish husband?
Where did we read that the virtuous woman was enduring suffering ?
Its always good to go back to scriptures in a quiet place to hear God's interpretation and silence those who misuse scriptures for their own mischief.
There is a big difference between following God and following people who talk about God.
If a man feels he can't stand he tongue of his wife, he can move out. He can pay for counseling for both of them.

Most Ladies prefer to follow hard men over calm Men. Hence when they experience shege like this, there is no need to feel for them.

Nobody acts calmly as a narcissistic to disguise, which is why most pastors are abusive and it will be hard to believe their victims, so do not judge what you don't know, please

Hmmmm, have you not heard of covert narcissist emotional abusers??? They are the calmest people in this life and the most wicked and abusive. I beg you in Jesus name, never assume it’s about personality temperament. Quiet people are the most abusive
