I heard that we are getting a chase variant version of the first appearance Superman in red boots and a different logo design based on the late 30s and early 40s and I prefer to get that over the one with no red boots at all
These is the Platinum edition to this figure so you are correct on that. I just found one at FYE. The sale clerk told me he had just placed the 3 figures out today. All three figures have a variant. Alan Scott is Glow in the Dark and Abyss has a different paint scheme with red added. Looks very Task Master.
I was so lucky to find the variant of this figure at a 2nd & Charles. Definitely not as cheap, but I didn't mind paying the $33 for that one since it's pretty rare. The card stand is nice, but definitely cheap since it's not even solid. As for the body, I'm on the fence with it. A bit too exaggerated sometimes, but I don't mind it too much. I find that if you raise the head just a little bit, it actually looks pretty good.
Hi Asoka, nice review, figure is nice but I think is a rip off to call it a collector's edition for just adding the card stand and a plastic piece. that should have been a regular price figure. I'm with you that he needs to add more accessories and extra parts to be call collectors edition and to justify the price hike. the only figure I paid the 30.00 price is the SDCC Knightfall Batman because it was an exclusive. great video. keep up the good work.
I have this guy pre ordered, but I'm thinking about canceling it. I love the old costume, but I really dont love the head sculpt and there's nothing deluxe about it. A fucking card stand that no one gives a shit about? That's worth an extra tenner? Bullshit.

I love your positivity in your reviews. 🎉🎉🎉
That blue should be the standard blue for his superman figures.
For the price point, it should've been a new sculpt. Or at least new boot-less leg sculpts.

Did they forget to paint his boots red or do all these come with blue boots?
They were blue inside Action Comics #1😀
@@AsokatheGeek I did not know that. Thanks for letting me know. That GID Swamp Thing is super cool. I want to add it to my collection.
please you have connections with mcfarlane... let him know enough with this bulky body we are already tired
Not even alt hands...
Since when superman is that big and bulky...come on that body is inaccurate
