Saludo ako na fluent ka n conversational, not just grammatical, so that the Pinoys u talk to are easily comfortable to talk to you 👊🏾👊🏾👍🏽👍🏽 I live in LA, CA for over 30+ yrs w my American/Pinoy hubby. His lolos in both sides are Americans (NY & KY) n his lolas are frm Isabela n Bulacan. He studied in UP. Then he went to LA, then I followed him. My daughter, who turns 33 this yr, understands Tagalog since we talk to her so she learns it. But she speaks just a little bcoz she says she has an “Merican” accent 🤣😂😜🤪 My very, very pet peeve when Filipinos ask if u kno any swear/ bad words … then the first thing they do is teach you the BAD WORDS 🤨😠 w/c will get u into trouble !!! That’s not Funny at all !!! I wud sometimes swear when I’m mad but it’s ugly n nasty when translated to Tagalog… so be careful what you say n Who you say it to 🫤🙄 Lastly, you kno what SOB means but it’s not the same in Tagalog bcoz P … ang ina mo is actually saying Your mother is a whore ! It’s really intense so don’t even say it jokingly… unless u really mad n mean it. Or else, masasampal ka in return 😮😮 Will keep watching ur videos 😬👏🏽👏🏽

I like the premise of your videos, but please stop the cartoonish sound effects. This seems to be common practice on these language reaction channels, but they're completely unnecessary and annoying.
I disagree, they’re simple and fun and not overdone. They act as the voice of Jared the editor, going through the clips. In that way the sound effects remind us that this isn’t a stream, it’s curated for our entertainment
You sound super authentic, and I am saying this as a person from the US that has listened to Filipinos for years, you would easily blend in in PH.
