It also depends on their hair style, costumes,etc. It displays strength. Aespa's choreo isn't that over the top hard either but her movements her are clean and smooth in my opinion.

I’m not the biggest fan of their debut song (it’s a preference, not an attack) but I’ve followed all their other activities and I can say with confidence that they are one of the most talented groups I’ve ever seen! Maybe because they have strong personality in their style, it made their group dance felt a little bit lacking, but still they are such an amazing group for me. I think Itzy has a potential to be very strong in rap. Esp if Jyp gives Yuna more rap lines. Her voice is made for it, she has the best flow in Itzy, after her i'd say Yeji. Ryujin is sometimes very good as well, but i like her voice more when she sings, her vocals are beautiful.

I think Yuna fits rap the best and has the best flow and sounds the cleanest, esp in their b side tracks she be slaying Yeji is also good and has a lot of potential and swag. As a moomos.. I'd say the dance is average to compare with other idols. Like several group can do that chair kicking while singing. But yea.. their main focus is to entertain the audience which is why vocal and stage presence is very strong..

I agree! Rei and Gaeul have yet to show their true potential in rapping. I really liked small snippets of them rapping in an episode of 1, 2, 3, IVE I think 🥺💖 Liz and Yujin's vocals are also really good, they slayed it so hard in ROYAL especially, hopefully they get a title track with like a hook high note at some point
A lot of K-pop fans need to realize that being a good vocalist is based off technique and having a poor technique doesn’t mean u can’t sing, u can just improve. Like itzy objectively has a weak vocals as I believe lia is no higher than c- and that doesn’t mean she can’t sing but compared to other main vocalist she’s pretty weak and if she debuted in another she would be lead/sub vocalist. Just bc an idol is stable during performance doesn’t mean their good vocalist, it can definitely contribute but that’s not the end all be all and just bc u wanna support them doesn’t mean u can’t critique them bc if u truly loved something ull realize it’s flaws and still love it so stop acting as if all K-pop idols are these gods And I would rate bp dance weak as their choreo tends to be same or lack luster compared to others and the girls themselves aren’t the best dancers either

MY OPINION⚠️⚠️ For me twice's vocals are strong nayeon,jihyo,sana(in last waltz),mina(in a cover she almost hit the wistle note),jeongyeon can do high note and jihyo can hit the lowest note in kpop nayeon can do the whislte note in rainbow(it's her voice cuz i did't find that voice in intrumentals)

They are all perfect for me...I love all groups. But personally I would like to add that Twice is no average in vocals. Their vocals are no joke.I am not a fan of them but I was amazed with their recent comeback. Their vocals are amazing and they all have improved. Their album is AMAZING.

Rei from Ive should NOT be underestimated as a rapper. That girl is an actual rapper, beyond “idol rapper” much like soyeon. She just never gets to fully show it in their songs.
They are weak being stable during encores isn’t the same as being a great vocalist being stable is the minimum requirement for singing/ being a idol compare their vocals to anyone on this list they always coming last for vocals

Vocals are eh, jihyo is the only one I'd consider to be slightly above average, everyone else is like slightly below imo, they lack technique. Don't get me wrong tho I love twice! Just wish they got more vocal training
The thing with TWICE is that if they have some really good vocalists they also balance it out with average vocalists. As for rapping DubChaeng are extremely good rappers but since TWICE is a vocal heavy grp their songs don't really need a rap part. Although given a chance they can spit bars as we have seen in a few title tracks and b-sides. I will give strong for rap category coz Dubu and Chaeng are very skilled in rapping (Dahyun for flow & Chaeyoung for both flow & pace). On top of that they also write songs and rap parts as well which is a bonus for any rapper.
I actually agree with you. You can think a group is average in something and still stan them - case in point, I agree about RV (except I think in rap, they’re strong - just not very strong) but they’re my ult group

I honestly think stage presence should match the genre they are doing for example rv does elegant royal cottage core type so they do not have that explosive dances and stern sharp expressions but rather softer and elegant dances and vibes but for bp their songs are more into beats and hip hop and very much western style so they have those sharp and swaggy looks and vibes whereas twice has cutesy, bubbly and pretty concept so they mostly do sweet smiles and cute expressions on stage. Nowadays many ppl just associate swag and cool concept (mostly western style) as having the most stage presence but that's just your preference and has nothing to do with stage presence 🤷♀️.
During SMTown, Wendy did 4 different stages with very different themes, but she was able to execute her stage presence according to each concept very well. Soooooo

Itzy they decide to sing live even with such hard choreography but still manages to sing like that also if they had too hard vocals line they wouldn’t able to dance like this just like aespa they have good singing but their dances are really not good and they also have pre recorded/ lip sync. I think if they had too hard vocals they wouldn’t sing live as often since they might be sick or something

Yeji has been supporting some and improving a LOT lately which you can hear on her solo stage and recent performances. Myself and other vocalists agree Yuna and Chaeryeong could consistently support with better training. Ryujin has a lovely tone and fine technique for a main rapper (non vocalist). They are not weak whatsoever. People just love undermining their skills and throwing around words they do not understand.
If you mean their vocal line (jihyo, jeongyeon, nayeon) i would say they are strong. But if you mean the group as a whole the rest of the members (except maybe mina) bring down their level to average.

ITZY is also strong in singing. Their dances are really complex so they don’t get to show their singing capabilities to the max but their radio singing is stable and strong.

@@Eat_and_Live17 as a moomoo, yes i think their group dance isn't really that good if we're comparing with groups these days. BUT if you're looking at their individual dance, they're good. Maybe because they have strong personality in their style, it made their group dance felt a little bit lacking, but still they are such an amazing group for me. They're my number 1 from the list of groups that I stan.

I think Itzy has a potential to be very strong in rap. Esp if Jyp gives Yuna more rap lines. Her voice is made for it, she has the best flow in Itzy, after her i'd say Yeji. Ryujin is sometimes very good as well, but i like her voice more when she sings, her vocals are beautiful.

A lot of K-pop fans need to realize that being a good vocalist is based off technique and having a poor technique doesn’t mean u can’t sing, u can just improve. Like itzy objectively has a weak vocals as I believe lia is no higher than c- and that doesn’t mean she can’t sing but compared to other main vocalist she’s pretty weak and if she debuted in another she would be lead/sub vocalist. Just bc an idol is stable during performance doesn’t mean their good vocalist, it can definitely contribute but that’s not the end all be all and just bc u wanna support them doesn’t mean u can’t critique them bc if u truly loved something ull realize it’s flaws and still love it so stop acting as if all K-pop idols are these gods

For me twice's vocals are strong nayeon,jihyo,sana(in last waltz),mina(in a cover she almost hit the wistle note),jeongyeon can do high note and jihyo can hit the lowest note in kpop nayeon can do the whislte note in rainbow(it's her voice cuz i did't find that voice in intrumentals)
In my opinion, when i seen the encore stage I can't stop me, member that have strong & stable vocal without dance just 1 & only Jihyo.. The rest member can't sing with stable voice even when they didnt dance at encore stage and nayeon's highnote adlibs is failed too.. Sorry but in my opinion from 9 member, their live vocal is a bit weak so if the admin say twice have average vocals i'll agree.. Sorry for my bad english

They are all perfect for me...I love all groups. But personally I would like to add that Twice is no average in vocals. Their vocals are no joke.I am not a fan of them but I was amazed with their recent comeback. Their vocals are amazing and they all have improved. Their album is AMAZING.

The thing with TWICE is that if they have some really good vocalists they also balance it out with average vocalists. As for rapping DubChaeng are extremely good rappers but since TWICE is a vocal heavy grp their songs don't really need a rap part. Although given a chance they can spit bars as we have seen in a few title tracks and b-sides. I will give strong for rap category coz Dubu and Chaeng are very skilled in rapping (Dahyun for flow & Chaeyoung for both flow & pace). On top of that they also write songs and rap parts as well which is a bonus for any rapper.

I honestly think stage presence should match the genre they are doing for example rv does elegant royal cottage core type so they do not have that explosive dances and stern sharp expressions but rather softer and elegant dances and vibes but for bp their songs are more into beats and hip hop and very much western style so they have those sharp and swaggy looks and vibes whereas twice has cutesy, bubbly and pretty concept so they mostly do sweet smiles and cute expressions on stage. Nowadays many ppl just associate swag and cool concept (mostly western style) as having the most stage presence but that's just your preference and has nothing to do with stage presence 🤷♀️.

Itzy they decide to sing live even with such hard choreography but still manages to sing like that also if they had too hard vocals line they wouldn’t able to dance like this just like aespa they have good singing but their dances are really not good and they also have pre recorded/ lip sync. I think if they had too hard vocals they wouldn’t sing live as often since they might be sick or something

Yeji has been supporting some and improving a LOT lately which you can hear on her solo stage and recent performances. Myself and other vocalists agree Yuna and Chaeryeong could consistently support with better training. Ryujin has a lovely tone and fine technique for a main rapper (non vocalist). They are not weak whatsoever. People just love undermining their skills and throwing around words they do not understand.

ITZY is also strong in singing. Their dances are really complex so they don’t get to show their singing capabilities to the max but their radio singing is stable and strong.

for me all groups are talented well they have their own talents...they have been trained like crazy for years so i dont have negative comment about it since i dont have any talent like the idols haha 😅
