He is the only performer I have ever heard that can take the classic songs that made people like Lefty and Merle and make them sound better than they did.
Omg! I could listen to them for hours. Mo & Holly, y'all are a breath of fresh air for traditional country music. Hang in there. Nashville will be begging for a newer generation of the traditional sounds of Merle Haggard, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens and many more. I know several here in Texas that produce new songs in the traditional style. It's awesome!
+catchinbass86 I agree. This guy has a Dwight Y. look..lol That might get him some brownie points see.. But I do agree. I even tried to write some new country myself. Check it out if ya like. I'd like to see old country make a walk through the door to success again too.
HOT DAM this is beautiful......a DUET CAREER waiting to happen.....WOOOF....bring it on guys........PERFECT Sibling Match........Love the guitar....wow....simplistic and REAL......Country once again.....WOW.....need more of this...Love it.
Finally found this again! This is when I 1st heard Mo & Molly Pitney sing. Love hearing anything he & her sang ever since, Beautiful!! 😍♥️😍💙🎶🤩 Thanks for sharing, Loved it! 😍😊
A talented duo for sure. Some of the best harmonizing I've ever heard. Old school country meets Allison Krause 2.0. She is also an absolute treat for the eyes. And ears.
Mo Pitney you made myday,I watched other videos of you,i no your going to the top, your sister also great singer, real country is not finished when we have great singers like you, best regards from,N.Ireland.
JD This reminds me of how my family use to set around at the table and play. We would sing, while my mother done the dishes, 3 part family Harmony is the purest you can find. Of all the videos i have watched of Mo and Holly, this one is my favorite. . It reminds me of a simple time, a time when it was just about the music and the love of what we do! Thanks for being there to record it. I watch it quiet often, just to take me back in time. its one of my favorite unscripted videos on youtube!
Mr1fallingstar , thanks for that, man. Almost made me tear up. I'm a 15 year old aspiring country musician/singer, and sometimes, I feel like I was born in the wrong era. The stuff I like is Merle, Willie, Brad, etc.
No and Holly.....THANK YOU!!! Some years ago, I was forced to decide between my marriage and Country Music. Stupid me chose the marriage. As you may have already guessed.....the marriage was pure hell and ended, anyway. I had given up.....never even thought about singing, ever again. The “heart” had just vanished. Until I heard Mo sing Borrowed Angel, and Holly’s rendition of Don’t Touch Me. I think I’ll stay single and give it another go. Hearing the two of you, singing REAL country, has been a true blessing. Thank You! Love and happiness to the both of you!
At a boy!!! At 73 the sparks and flames ain't roaring as high but they are still burning pretty good. When The Lord blessed you with music you should never give it up..."Lord! I'd Rather Be Out Pickin' With The Band".
I agree with you. He has a true country voice. I also hope that after hearing this rendition of Vern Gosdin's "Til the end" that Mo and Holly put this on his album!!! I can't wait until he puts out an album.
we just discovered this guy and wowza we love him, we are big country fans and my hubby loves Merle Haggerd and is blown away by you MO luv from the UKxxx

Good job Mo & Holly.. Great sound together. Country needs to be rediscovered again. Seems some people think Pop should be country. I for one do not. T's up.
fiddlevixen5 Sure brings back " Old home " of days past .Make's it sound that much more authentic and so simple times . This one guitar sounds good as an orchestra .
My mother was a troop singer on the grand Ole Opry In 40's and also performed with her husband Virgil and his brothers in a group called the Michigan Hotshots. This was a few years before I was born. However, I remember some of the country graets set down to my granpa's dinner table on his farm in the late 40's and the 50's when ever they wer on tour new the family farm in North Central Wiscosin. I remebr people like Elton Britt, Roy Acuff, Hank Williams Sr., Kitty Wells, Johnny Wright, Jack Anglin, Leroy VanDyke, Hank Snow, any may more that at this stage in my life I have forgotten. Mo Pitney would fit in real well with these people very very well. I looked foward to seeing up here in Northwest Washington State. Iam also very excited about his sister too. If we continue o get more young artist like him and his sister maybe we will start hearing The real Country Music on the radion sometime soon and get rid of the clowns that are pretending to be Country!!!!
Please invite me to Christmas at the grandparents house this year. I'd be happy to buy the food and "drive across the country just to listen to some country" from these two!
You have revived my passion for country music. Please include your sister in a album that I'm sure is going to stamp your name next to your idols and hopefully your sister will follow you. You two are amazing
