- My name is Amber and I am here to create unique art, teach you my techniques, and encourage you to create! Welcome to my channel. I am so happy to have you here! I create textured floral artworks using a heavy textured acrylic paint, lovingly referred to as Gaffrey paint after the creator Justin Gaffrey.
Here I create a variety of cool and always one of a kind pieces and the best part is I show you every single step. Come along, ask questions and let me guide you down the addictive path of using heavy textured paint and VIVID colors to spice up your life!!!!
I am using heavy textured acrylic paint from Gaffrey Art Materials.

I have created a formula to simplify the process of creating a 3d bouquet of flowers out of paint. Check the link below for the formula, you can simply print and fill in the charts.

SO lovely
Thank you so much!
Muy hermoso trabajo te felicito.
Hi thanks so much for sharing your talents with us ❤ I want to know if I can use the regular acrylic paint with the thick acrylic paint instead of buying all the colors in the thick acrylic paint? I thank you so much ❤
Yes you absolutely can, in fact I really recommend it! It is much more affordable that way. Some colors like red or black are really nice to buy already mixed but most can be mixed with white or clear from Gaffrey. Have fun!!!
Beautiful work! I watched another video & she put the tip of her bag in a little water to keep it from drying out.
Yes that's a great trick! I'm so happy you enjoyed this content!
Hi again, love how these turned out. I'm a florist and those look very real.
When you are saying you use tip #846 I'm not sure which tip it is. There are so many manufacturers and sellers I'm not sure witch one you are referring to. Is there any other info you can provide ?
Thanks
Hello there Trish! I love that you say these look real! As a Gardener I've gotten so much inspiration from being around fresh flowers, they are truly magic!
Answering your question I had to run to Google, here's what I found out. What Wilton tip is the same as Ateco 846?
Wilton 1C
This tip is a closed 6 point star. Made of stainless steel.
Hope this helps!
Please I’m wondering where can I buy gaffrey cuz I didn’t found at Amazon or others stores .Thank you so much
@@suzanshenouda6270 only from the gaffrey website, it's linked in the description.
@suzanshenouda6270 check out the hydrangea video if you would like to try some gaffrey alternatives. I hope that answers your question.
💯❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The camera angle really made it difficult to see what you were doing. I found myself getting frustrated not being able to see what you were doing half the time. Other than that, I think your art is beautiful. I sell my paintings at our local Farmer's Market here in California. To see the people's faces that light up when they see my work makes my heart sing! When I do set up my booth, my former customers come by and say, "Everytime I look at your painting on my wall I feel happy!" Amazing!!!! So I know what you are talking about. Please fix the camera next time. Not certain how you put the flowers on the canvas. Did you repaint the bottom of them and then stuck them on the canvas?
Thank you for your feedback! Very helpful, I look forward to getting better footage in the future! I love hearing your story, that's super cool!!!! Answering your questions, the "background flower " I piped is the perfect glue to place the dry flowers and leaves onto. When I assemble the bouquet I work with dry flowers and use wet paint to create the base. Have a lovely day😁
Me gusta mucho tu historia. Muchas gracias por compartirla. 😊
