    I loved how the first guy who caught 2 checked the size of the second one and let it go as it was smaller! Well done!

    We used to do this on the east cost of South Africa as kids. We'd catch so many, all you need is a cheap pair of garden gloves, a long sleeve rugby jersey, mask and an old net bag. Cook them right on the beach.

    Interesting, , I dive in Atlantic off northeastern coast (Long Island, NY, USA)
    OUR lobsters have claws and we take them by hand similarly to what you do.
    Also dive in Florida, USA. Those lobsters are more like ones you show, but they're very fast and often share the hole with moray eel so it's imprudent to try to grab by hand. We use tickle stick and snare.

    Hi, I'm looking to get into free diving/spearfishing. Do you have any suggestions for fins? Length, brand, styles etc. I'm 6' 2" and am fit enough to handle stiffer fins (I've heard they give you more power and are more efficient.
    Thanks for the help!

    • @lachlanoneil8938
      @lachlanoneil8938 5 років тому

      All I can say is that if you are going to be diving in 10 m or less don't get the really long ones also for caves diving unless it's deep.

    This doesn't seem to be a "how to" video but more of an informational video describing lobsters.

      It's 9 degrees in the winter. There's no difference between Peterhead/Stonehaven where you would dive to the south coast of Australia.

      Wobbigong shark. They're a type of carpet shark, extremely well camouflaged. They like to lurk on the bottom and eat crabs & stuff that comes too close. Not dangerous unless you stand on it or stick your hand in it's face.
