Its sad they dident make a 960 turbo like they did with the 760 turbo which had a more powerful turbo redblock instead of v6. would be perfect with a t5 instead of the I6. but they probobly only wanted one sporty model and then the 850 t5 was enough.
960 turbo 91-94 exists. It was sold in markets where big engine displacements are highly taxed. B204FT 🙂 And dont't forget the mighty D24T 91-94 😃 95 and forward only NA I6 tho.
The B204FT is ultra rare and must not be swapped! Get another car instead 😛 Hardest work for most people is to shorten the oilpan and to do the wiring. Get parts is not so easy any longer. I run M90 from 960 >95. HP is yet unknown.
Almost bought a 940 turbo yesterday(wagon, 165hp, manual, 260mil, 1st owner) . it was gone by the time i arrived. 13 000dkk which is ~17 000sek, are they getting rare as well in sweden? I need a volvo turbo for the summer !
If you find one that's in good condition, buy it! Yes, same here, it's always a fight over to be the first one on site. 5 min after the add, it's gone.
